This is a guide to earning all achievements for Defend Your Crypt. Many of these achievements are self-explanatory or trivial to earn, but are included here for the sake of completeness. Earning all achievements might take you roughly three hours,.

Similar achievements are all grouped together for the sake of convenience. Achievements unlock at the time you meet their requirements (which means they can unlock in the middle of a level).

Looter Repeler
Looter Murderer
Looter Assassination
Mass Killing
Carnage
Megadeath
Over 2000 Deaths

These achievements require you to kill 10, 100, 150, 250, 500, 1000, and 2000 enemies, respectively. In the course of completing the normal game you'll unlock all of these except Over 2000 Deaths. Deaths can be through any method. Deaths will count if you kill some enemies and then quit the level or fail the level.

Over 2000 Deaths is one of two achievements you'll have to grind for. Just choose an easy level and play it repeatedly. If you are lazy and skilled with a macro recorder you could program it to complete one of the easier levels repeatedly.


That's my gold!- Complete one level without losing any gold.

You should unlock this after finishing Level 1.

The Hidden Gold- finish all levels

This achievement is misleading. You only have to complete the EASY mode levels. You don't have to touch the hardcore levels or unlock any of them. Any skull ranking on the easy mode levels will count.

Water Trap- kill 3 thieves with the water trap at the same time

Level 14 is your first opportunity to do this. This can also be done in some of the later levels where there are a large number of enemy spawns.

Don't gotta go fast- Complete one level without using the speed up.

Hold down the spacebar to speed up time. You'll unlock this in the first level if you don't press it.


One coin left- Complete one level with only 1 gold unit left.

In other words, get a ranking of one skull, or let 3 thieves reach your treasure. Level 2 has exactly 3 thieves, so start the level and don't touch anything and it'll unlock.


High five!- Watch two thieves doing a High Five!
Sad looters- Make 1 thief sad.

I'm not exactly sure what causes these to unlock, but they'll unlock early on during the course of normal play. Sad Looters might unlock if an enemy sees another enemy die.


Stamp maker- Kill 200 thieves with a crusher trap.

Not at once! This is a cumulative total. If it doesn't unlock during the course of finishing Easy Mode, play one of the last levels, since there are several crusher traps in them.


Pyromaniac- Burn 30 thieves.

You'll have to grind a little for this, since there are very few flamethrower traps and they are expensive to unlock. Your best bet is replaying Level 22 until this unlocks.
