The Basics

John isn't a very complicated character. He's on the lighter side, but can pack some serious punch. An agile glass cannon, if you will. Some of his attacks have heavier wind-up times, because swinging around giant hammers isn't easy!

Noteworthy Attack Info

NSPECIAL fires random projectiles from John's inventory, each type dealing a different amount of damage. The cards that appear at the start of the attack also deal damage, allowing you to stack damage quickly in close quarters.
You can use NSPECIAL to pick up a stray Barbasol Bomb from DSPECIAL and launch it later.
FSPECIAL can be charged with successfully-timed SPECIAL inputs (press the button after the pogo-hammer hits the ground). After five strikes, you'll launch forward with massive attack power, but be careful not to go flying off the stage, as there's no way to cancel it.
Using FSPECIAL in the air will similarly send you flying.
USPECIAL lifts you up in a tornado that will also spike opponents.
DSPECIAL lobs an aerosol bomb along the ground that will knock opponents back with a foamy explosion.
DATTACK won't deal much damage, but it will knock opponents high in the air.
USTRONG will launch you into the air.
Inputting USPECIAL immediately after UAIR will give you a small aerial boost. You can only use it once before touching the ground again, however.

Other Fun Info

Either PARRYING or being PARRIED as John will give the PRANKSTER'S GAMBIT a brief cameo. It also serves more practically as your FAIR.
John's tenth alt (>Troll Feeder) is an entirely new troll-themed skin.
