Manual PDF is in installed folder
There is PDF in RockSmith installed folder.

ex) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014\RocksmithConfiguration.pdf

Basically it is recommended to set following for Real Tone Cable.

  • Audio gain 100%
  • 48kHz DVD quality 1ch (mono)

Troubleshooting
Basic troubleshooting is replacing or changing configurations.

1) Platform (PC, PS3, PS4, XBox, etc)
2) Real tone cable
3) Guitar

If you have multiple devices, you can replace and test.
If you don't have troubleshooting became difficult.

No audio: Replace 9V battery
If your electric guitar or bass has battery, you may need to replace.

As far as I know, it is more like for bass and not so much in guitar.

It was recommended to pull out cable/shield while not using.
Tuning: emulation and real mode
I had issue with my bass for tuning.

Switching emulation and real mode made difference for proper tuning.

It's nice to have tuner application on your phone as well.

Search "Guitar turner" on your phone apps store.

@Mašina I'm not sure if I can help as I never used mic. But I've read some people use webcam and headphone mic. The manual PDF (first section) has the microphone setting info as well. I think it's better to set standard/default mic and/or remove all other audio input device to avoid RockSmith get confused.

for me everything works fine except my mic, which doesnt work at all. Can you help?
