This may just be a short little prototype, but that doesn't mean you can't have some fun with it.
With hold attacks you have to hold the button until your character performs the action.

L = light attack
H = heavy attack
(L) = hold light attack
(H) = hold heavy attack

Decapitate foes: L - H - (H) - H

Slice an enemy in half: L - L - (H)

Smash an enemies head: L - (H)

Dash attack: forward - forward - L or H

Impaling enemies on background objects: forward - forward - L or H (next to the statues towards the end of the level)

Sparta kick: L - H - H

Hitting light attack and jump buttons at the same time does a back attack.

Here's the main thing I noticed: the second attack in a hit is completely independent of what the first hit was, but the third hit is based on what the second hit was. In other words, a sparta kick with L - H - H is the same as a sparta kick from H - H - H, but the final attack in L - L - H is different. In other words, only the second hit matters for which combo you're trying to do.

Incidentally, there's one last finisher move if you hold (H) for the very first hit.
