On the other hand, there is a variance of the Warden which Stance switching comes in handy, I love the melee aspect of this one, thus, you may like to tweak into stance switching for some occasions. As per Sorek's build check out his guide --> https://nw.mmominds.com/2020/06/30/alternative-ranger-builds-mod19/
Ranger Warden Suggested Gear, Artifacts and Enchants
If you are new to Neverwinter and need to know how to get better gear and increase your item level, the best way to gear up in Neverwinter is by making a lot of Astral Diamonds to get starter leveling gear. You can either buy Zen and exchange it for AD (usually the fastest and actually cheap method), spending around $20 will get you enough ZEN to AD conversion to buy both main hand, offhand Mulhorand set and all 3 Xvim set leveling pieces of the auction (Neck, ring and belt) including some needed companions and mounts. That's a nice edge to the game, but you can also farm it for those who don't want to spend money.

The end game gear, well farming is a must, or spend more money. That usually cost quite a bit more on the auction than the leveling gear.

RANGER WARDEN ARTIFACTS
So basically what i do here, is I try to match the best Set of (3) with my main primary art. then if possible unless you're lacking on stats, i try to go for the single boomer's all out power for the secondary, or hit point for survivability. Again it's all on where you're at from this point on.
Primary Artifact
Envenomed Storyteller’s Journal
Staff of Flowers
Decanter of Atropal Essence

Secondary Artifacts
Choose secondary artifacts based on the stats you are lacking.
Frozen Storyteller’s Journal
Flayed Storyteller’s Journal
Darkened Storyteller’s Journal
Arcturia’s Music Box
Trobriands Ring
Staff of Flowers
Halaster’s Blast Scepter

RANGER WARDEN ENCHANTMENTS
When getting enchantments, always get the ones with the stats you are lacking in with your gear, boons, etc in mind. For example, if you’ve capped Crit with your gear and boons, don’t get azure enchantments for your offense slots. If you still need to refine your enchantments, see our Refinement Guide for tips on how to farm refinement. I noticed this mod that all classes seems to go for those enchants, some times i like to use a BRUTAL in DEF to get that DEF stat up and HP.

Offense Enchantments
1- Tenebrous Enchantment
Rest- Radiant Enchantments

Defense Enchantments
Radiant Enchantment

Utility Enchantments
Tactical Enchantment
Dark Enchantment

Companions and Mounts
This one i'll be brief, if you played for a while, you'll get and understand the bonus brought by the companions and mounts. Basically the best bonus bestowed upon you and more static than having a live companion, is to have an enhance companion. The shareable bonus is so much larger upon you that the numbers can't speak for themselves. Although the numbers or stats seems to be larger by a margin, the AI of the live companion is too mediocre to upscale you in speed of attacks. Hence why giving you the buff as an enhancement is primo. Choose what fits you or whats needed according to the needs explained in this guide. (I choose often Ioun stones or swarms for DPS, and a companion that provides POTENT PRECISION, seems like another one that keeps coming back for all DPS)

Mounts are straight forward have the ones giving you the bonus that make sense, if that mount gives you deflection as a final bonus once the 3 slots are filled, then that's fine but it;s not what we're looking for here. Most mounts will offer a universal slot at the end and also confer multiple types of bonus. Just read it and build the one needed for your spec or need.
Conclusion
In the end, you need to enjoy what you're playing. I found guides, as I like to see how others mix and match things, helps me understand the thought behind it. there's so many options, when you think, single target, AOE's then the others specs... This was really just intended in trying to clarify the why as you read it, just like it did me. Take this power for that feat and this daily for this bonus ect.

Anyways I hope you enjoy the game, it's not complicated, yet challenging, the community aside from the ever lasting trolls, is amazing. As a long time DM and Player for D&D and others, I rarely turn down a D&D graphical game on my pc. We have the tech. to make it visual and it's fun. Stop bashing the companies that makes it and this and that, it's mot worth the 20 minutes rant you could've used to play with friends. Pen & Paper communities are usually some of the most kept to themselves, but the most loyal and enjoyable beings i've ever encountered. Too bad we can't go on a troll bashing sesh but w/e maybe one day :)
