Step 1:

Play Sea of Thieves.
No joke, if you just play, you get chests. They are freaking everywhere. They are unavoidable. You will find them, and hoard them.

They are so much easier to get than Skulls and Merchant Alliance crap.

Step 1:

Passive Hoard till you are reputation 15.

Step 2:

Buy Emissary flag and raise it.

Step 3:

Passive Hoard until you have the desired emissary level.

Step 4:

Lower the Flag.

Actually do their missions. The higher your rep with Hoarders, the better missions you can get. If you achieve Emissary level 5, you can get a special voyage and get crap-tons of chests.

Step 1:

Have the Emissary Flag.

Step 2:

Buy the Costume that take's the flag's place in the shop.

Step 3:

Waste countless hours completing all the commendations on <i>every</i> Tall Tale and Get the Hoarder Curse.

Step 4:

Level up with the Hoarders all the way so you can get the best Hoarder Shovel and Compass.

Step 5:

When you are all leveled up, don't forget to buy the entire Gold Hoarders Ship Set.

Step 6:

Equip it all and look like a true Gold Hoarder Representative.
