To start off, you need to know two things before you start speedrunning this game:
1. There is a discord where speedrunners and players alike talk (https://discord.gg/67P6MV2)
2.Know the game mechanics (which I will do my best to cover on another guide)

Getting that out of the way, lets start with the technique that you should use while speedrunning.
At the start of the game, decide which direction you want to head. If you are speedrunning with a group, then you should communicate with the group and tell them which way you are heading. You will want to open doors as fast as possible and Sonic yourself through every room. If you end up in a dead end, look around to find a fuse box, then leave the room you came from. If you see/hear the ghost and your flashlight is flickering, then you will either want to juke the ghost or use a battery. I suggest using a battery first since attempting to juke the ghost is tricky and risky. If your flashlight is not flickering, just hide for a second, since getting too close to the ghost will trigger it into attacking you.

The ghost has two phases, the roaming phase, and the attack phase. He will normally be in his roaming phase, wandering around like the ghostly buffoon he is, but some things will trigger the ghost into his attack phase, like getting too close to him, fixing a fuse box, and using the cloning machine. I think (but not sure) that he can go into his attack phase randomly. Once you find all fuses, find the master switch and remember the way back to the elavator.
