1. Make sure to uninstall your old Rockstargames launcher
   
2. After done,go to the Rockstargames and download the latest launcher ver Here [socialclub.rockstargames.com]
   
3. Downloads done then straight up install till it done
   
4. After done install,run the GTA V and there will be an little update to wait
   
5. Then Done,the launcher pop up and no more 'error'

Due to many problems with this disaster update, we got an message from RockstarSupport about this and this is their suggested solution for worst conditions...

In an attempt to resove this issu, we request you to delete Rockstar Games Launcher and remove all the related files, then please download the Launcher from the link: https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/rockstar-games-launcher and install the Launcher in a different Drive.
