What is simple headshots mod?

Simple headshots mod allows you to instantly kill NPCs , Players or Nextbots by hitting them in the head.

Some NPCs for example , Do not instantly die from headshots , An example of an NPC that does not instantly die normaly is Barney.

This mod allows you to kill NPCs / Players / NextBots with headshots even at 100000% Health.

Its simple , Lightweight and customizable. It does not impact performance at all.

You can also make headshots more satisfying by making the bullet spark when a headshot has been performed.

List Of Console Commands

Use 1 to enable and use 0 to disable.

SimpleHeadshots_allow_headshot_blood

Default 1 Should it splash extra blood around on headshot?

SimpleHeadshots_allow_headshot_spark

Default 1 Does it show a spark on headshot?

SimpleHeadshots_allow_headshot_sound

Default 1 Does the blood make a splash sound on headshot? Does the spark make a reflection-like sound on headshot?

SimpleHeadshots_players_can_headshot_npcs

Default 1 Enable players to instantly kill NPCs on headshot?

SimpleHeadshots_players_can_headshot_players

Default 1 Enable players to instantly kill other players on headshot? ( Armor prevents this )

Default 1 Can NPCs instantly kill each other with headshots?

Default 0 Can NPCs instantly kill players with headshots? ( Armor prevents this )

SimpleHeadshots_players_can_headshot_striders

Enables the ability to headshot striders with ( Rocket Launchers ) now. Position seems a little precise.

Does this work on NextBots?

Yes, It depends if part of their hitbox has ( HITGROUP_HEAD )

Would you/Can you add a console command for NextBots

To my knowledge right now , I am not sure how to do that. NextBots share the same damage hook as NPCs.

ITS NOT WORKING: Anything i hit in the head does not always instantly die.

There are a few reasons why this can happen.

* First one is you may have a mod conflict.

* The second reason maybe that , The target you are trying to hit does not have ( HITGROUP_HEAD ) in their hitbox meaning its a ( model problem )

* The target's code may have some sort of damage resistance which may override this mod. I can not really fix that.
