On a Personal note, something that Hollow Knight says to me -
You don't have to be "The Chosen One", "The Favorite", "The One Foretold by Destiny", etc or even feel bad for not being able to do things the fastest or best or with any other me. Things don't always go the way we plan...sometimes they aren't planned at all. But despite everything, and even if no one believes in you, you must not give up on yourself.
You have to keep going, can be any direction, maybe even backtrack a bit for more clues, try again, learn from your own regrets and failures, conquer them. And this is just the Knight's journey.
"The Knight was among the ones who were abandoned, yet it tried and achieved something no one could. I'm writing this while listening to the "Sealed Vessel" Soundtrack. It could have been anyone, but the knight wasn't the chosen one. It wasn't quick enough to be the one. And it was sealed away with everyone else.. yet it escaped, by sheer luck, and came back with just a broken nail, and a heart of steel to take on everything. It never gave up. It tried and understood and accepted its past and reunited with who it really was..
And achieved the impossible. Not Once, Not Twice, But 5 Separate times...learning something new and getting better every time until its over"
It's journey ends. But it inspired me and you. and anyone else to never give up.
It's fitting that it gets a chance to have some peace..closure..in our hearts and memories.
