Rubicon

The Rubicon is a classic starfighter that is outclassed by many modern ships, but the rugged reliability it offers is what kept it in production and use for so long after its conception. The old-world engine design was the best among its contemporaries, and even manages to keep up with today's standards.

Many... uhm... unsavory types... tend to employ this ship because most of the parts used in the engine and chassis are easily interchangeable compared to the proprietary technologies of modern engines, making the Rubicon one of the easiest, cheapest ships to repair. Some even say you could piece one together after just a few salvage runs!


Feature list:

-Landing gear (default G)

-Cockpit access located on the port side via a button located above the laser gatling cannons. This opens the cockpit hatch and deploys a step-ladder.

-Located on either side of the yoke is a switch which activates one of 2 ship features:
Left: activate the canopy closing/opening sequence.
Right: activate navigation lights.

***Weaponry***
-Eight size 4 brick laser guns with gatling barrels (Primary fire)
-Four size 9 brick beam cannons (Secondary fire)
