How to fix Joystick Drift in X-wing and Tie Fighter Special Edition

Joysticks sometimes experience drift even though it is calibrated in Windows. To fix this issue in that case, follow the following steps.

Go to your installation folder for Tie Fighter Remastered or X-Wing Remastered such as:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\STAR WARS Tie Fighter\remastered

and look for ddraw.cfg and open it

Change JoystickEmul from -1 to 0

Safe it and test out the game

If that does not work follow the guide below...

Find your ddraw.cfg file in the remasterd folder for both X-Wing and Tie Fighter Remastered versions.

such as:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\STAR WARS Tie Fighter\remastered\ddraw.cfg

Change JoystickEmul from -1 to 0

save the file, close it, and test the game

Hi guys, there are two files, ddraw,dll, and ddraw, it has a gear symbol, is that one which you need to edit, and thats all

There is only ddraw.dll
It's full of random symbols.
But from line 786 to 793 is this:

There is only DDRAW.DLL no CFG file...unless it is in a different path....?
