E.S.D / Electronic Surge Detector // Detect Lightning Strikes!

This is the E.S.D (Electronic Surge Detector), a device developed by me, with the purpose to detect lightning strikes on a vehicle.

For those of you who are unaware: Lightnings can hit vehicles (especially air vehicles), since V1.0 made weather a bit more intense, this device can save your live. Lightning strikes flip all the breakers in your vehicle.

Upon activating, it constantly checks for a sudden power failure and with a very quick response time (0,2 seconds) and immediatly outputs a on signal if it detects a power failure due to lightning strike.
Basic principle:
- Turn on
- Device constantly makes a lever go up and down
- Device measures if values change or stay over time
- If values stay the same, the lever is no longer reacting to the machines output, therefore concluding a power loss, due to the breaker being flipped off.

Wire the device up to your failsafe systems, for example: turn on auto hover on helicopters. So if a lightning strike occours and you depend on some breakers, you can stabilize the craft and safely put back on all the breakers.

- No energy usage thanks to the lever method
- No noise as opposed to button based Surge Detectors
- Very compact
- Auto resets if power is back on for at least 3 seconds
