Perhaps you've noticed that during the character intros and on the 'Winner' screen the picture looks a lot more blurred and smudgy than it does during the actual fighting. This is due to the much hated (at least by me) effect named Chromatic Aberration.[en.wikipedia.org]

As it has become standard on UE4 fighting games, like Tekken 7, there is no in-game option to remove the effect.

Thankfully, the same fix works for this game as any UE4 game.
Kill It with Fire
Head on over to %LOCALAPPDATA%\EXF\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor (or Personal folder -> AppData -> Local)

Inside, you'll find a bunch of config files, but the one we're interested in is called Scalability.ini

Open it up in your favorite text editor to find the secret of life - It's empty.

Paste in the following:

[PostProcessQuality@0] r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 r.Tonemapper.Quality=3 [PostProcessQuality@1] r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 r.Tonemapper.Quality=3 [PostProcessQuality@2] r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 r.Tonemapper.Quality=3 [PostProcessQuality@3] r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 r.Tonemapper.Quality=3

This gets rid of the CA effect on all graphic presets.

Save the file. After that, right click into 'Properties' and put a check mark on 'Read-only' to prevent the game from overwriting the file, then hit 'OK.

Done
Congratulations, you are now free from the tyranny of CA.

After:

As a bonus, you'd like to also get rid of the depth blurring, you can do that by adding this line under the '[PostProcessQuality@x]' sections:

r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0

Awesome! thx. Any way of getting rid of the "Match Making OFF" tab that's on thru the game play?
