Capture and Hold- Multiplayer Map

Description
For reasons unknown, the mineral-rich Farpoint Mining Station dropped off the grid. Now, two competing coalitions have set up bases and are praparing to take the multibillion dollar facility for themselves. Aided by teams of Space Engineers, the two teams are prepared to fight to the death.

Basic Map Structure:

The map is designed around 4 nodal points: Farpoint Station, Red Base, Blue Base, and the Supply Depot.

Red Base-

A platform sunken into a doghnut-shaped asteroid provides the basic structure of Red Base. Red base has a few basic facilities, two fighter craft, and the red capital ship. The capital ship only has one reactor now, and as such suffers from barely-adequate power and poor maneuverability.

Blue Base-

Blue base is built out from the side of one of the larger asteroids and has pretty much the same stuff as Red Base, albeit the capital ship is the default blue one. I didn't need to do anything to it; it sucks even without my help :)

Farpoint Station-

Farpoint is build off of the easy start platform, although there are a number of mining tunnels that have been drilled into the asteroid. The platform has 4 fighters and 2 capitals. 3 of the fighters have drill heads instead of weapons, while one still has the default payload. The 2 capital ships are repaints of the originals (unaltered handling characteristics), although I altered the forward structre of the the "red" ship to make it a sort of cargo vessel.

Farpoint is more or less equidistant from both red and blue base (~500 meters between farpoint and any one base)

Supply Depot-

This is where things get interesting. The supply depot is built in a small asteroid cluster away from the other three locations and is more or less the same as red or blue base except for one key difference: the ships at the depot are highly souped-up. The depot capital ship is a variant of the blue ship, but it has been upgraded to the max with two large generators, 9 gyroscopes, and heavy-armor reinforcements and missile guards around the entire structure.

The two fighters have enclosed cockpits, 4 missile launchers, and 8 gatling guns each. The designs are a bit simplistic, but my goal was for the fighters to be unglamorous killing machines, with no frills attached.

Team Structure-

I made this map to be played with two teams, but you could probably stretch it to 4 if you're willing to let one team start off with the super ships.

Teams are based on randomly asigned suit color, with the cold colors (blue, green, black) pitted against the warm colors (red, yellow, white).

Overall Objective-

There are three ways to win the game (or modes of play if you prefer):

a- Keep your entire team on or in the immediate vicinity of the platform for 60 seconds
b- Capture both of the yellow capital ships, repaint them in your team color, and bring them to your base
c- Destroy all enemy spaceships and structures (wreckage is okay, but if it's still flyable then it isn't destroyed)

My vision-

I built the match I always wanted to play in space engineers. It requires teamwork, strategy, and creativity. It most certainly isn't at its full potential, but the reason for this is twofold: firstly, not all of the game features have been implemented yet, and secondly, I haven't been able to test this map "in the field". My internet connection isn't up to the task for having 16 players zooming around blowing stuff up.

This map already has everything you need to play in it. This isn't to discourage people from building, per se, but I wanted to see what people could do with imperfect creations- underpowered fighters, sluggish battleships, and limited resources. Of course it would be easy to build a hypermaneuverable, 16 gun heavy armor fighter, but that's only fun for a few minutes. The real challenge, the thing that will hopefully keep people playing this map, is working with limited quantities of material.

I hope you enjoy this map, and, if you can, please host it. I would love to hear comments and criticisms.

I havent looked at it as yet, but its a great idea but isnt really possible in the current version of Space Engineers. Maybe when you can damage other players with your weapons, this map could be quite fun.
