This Game Requires VC_Redist
You may have noticed and error message pop up when you try to run the game. It might say something like, "MSVCP140.dll," or "MSVCR140.dll" are missing, corrupt, or the game isn't designed to run on Windows.

Don't fret. That just means your computer is currently missing some core library files from Microsoft's Visual Studio C++.

This game was most likely built inside of Visual Studio and requires core components and libraries in order to run properly.

You may already have some versions of VC_Redist installed on your computer from previous games. They could be from different packages of either newer or older versions of VC_Redist. It is important to note here that they are all different and contain a different set of instructions.

However, this game specifically requires packages from the 2015 (x86) architecture which you'll need to install if it's not already. For those of you who think you already have it installed but don't, probably have the 64-bit version installed, which is different from the 32-bit version.

You can go to the Microsoft website and go hunt up the downloads, but luckily for you, you don't have to. Even though as poor installations methods for a port on steam doesn't directly motion you to install these packages with the game, the developer has included the VC_Redist installation file you need in order to get the game to run.

Just open up the location of your game's folder. You can do this by right clicking the game in your library, then Manage > Browse Local Files.

Double click on the executable file "vc_redist.x86.exe" Proceed with the installation or repair of the files and reboot your computer afterwords if prompted.

Now try and launch the game.
