So for this to be most effective, it's best to be any of the Guard positions (Point Guard or Shooting Guard)

So basically what you do is after your team scores, you stand in front of the opposing team's Point Guard during the inbound, and STAY in front of him. The opposing player passing the ball in will then pass it to the Shooting Guard (WOOOOOO). The Shooting Guard getting the ball on the in bound pass will stand there doing nothing until he can pass to the point guard (assuming it's not a combo guard or a ball dominant player like Tracy McGrady for example), this part is crucial! Stay in front of the Point Guard while the Shooting Guard stands there doing nothing waiting to pass the ball to the Point Guard. This most often results in a stolen ball if done correctly. Other times if the shot clock gets close to 16 seconds, the Shooting Guard if unable to pass the ball to the Point Guard will just hail mary it down to one of their teammates already back on the other side of the floor on offense. This has mixed results mainly depending on who hail marys the ball down the court. Sometimes it's a horrible pass, other times it's your average pass, it varies.


But yeah, I've been doing this for years in 2K10 MyPlayer as it's a really easy and quite effective way once you nail down the timing for getting a crap ton of steals and skill points for your MyPlayer. This only works in 2K10 as they fixed this glitch in later games.
