I play on window mode. Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but still the same thing happens with the mod. Anyone has found a similar issue and has any solution for this?
P.S. for @Derelict Mind I play DoW from 15 years(many of them ensemble five/six pals) and DoWPro from 10 years; i tried UA and found it very unbalanced and full of bugs, the gameplay is "furious & confuse" having some odd choice, resembling the silly SCraft2 at "max speed/most APM win", very few strategy, no more tactics. Quantity over quality, in that UA is "better".
Meh i dunno man UA barely updates as it is and doesnt often add anything new rather than fixing some colour pixels
You will want to patch your created shortcut and to be sure your GraphicsConfig.exe (you can patch your default Soulstorm.exe too if you want)Now the reason I'm suggesting this idea (again I'm no expert), I had crashes sometimes during stronghold missions, even in vanilla, so I assume the reason you can not load your skirmish/stronghold mission might be caused by a similar issue. Now don't worry if this doesn't help you either have more GB attached to the old game engine or if you do not want/need it verify integrity off game files to set it to default.
Note I have a modern pc with 16 GB Ram, as far as i as a noob understand it, the game does only use 2 GB by default.
