The Basics of Mythicals
What is a Mythical?:

A mythical item is an extremely rare type of item, with a noticeable special effect added on to it.

Unboxing Mythicals:

According to the smartly dressed games wiki (link in credits) you have an average of about a %3 chance to get any type of mythical per one box that is unboxed, so on average it would take about 33 unboxes to get a mythical.

The Generations of Effects:

There are currently (as of sept. 2020) 3 generations of mythicals in the game. With some discontinued effects.

Gen 1:
Examples: Burning, Lovely, Glowing.

Gen 2:
Examples: Meta, Radioactive, Blood Sucker.

Gen 3:
Examples: Lucky Coins, Fire Dragon, Blossoming.

Discontinued Effects:
Examples: Divine and Rainbow

Crafting Mythicals:

Crafting a single mythical skin in game requires someone to scrap 1000 items worth to get the needed crafting materials. Although mythical crafting isn't as popular as unboxing, it is the only way you can get common, uncommon, and premium quality mythicals.

The Tiers of Mythicals
High Tier:
Effects such as Atomic, Burning, Divine, Rainbow, Energized, Freezing, Glowing, Pyrotechnic, Radioactive, Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, Crystal Shards, Soul Shattered, High Tide, and Enchanted are considered some of the best effects in the game.

Mid Tier:
Effects such as Electric, Glitched, Cosmic, Lovely, Musical, Party, Shiny, Meta, Blood Sucker, Bananza, Lucky Coins, Blossoming, Cryptic Runes, and Melting are considered mid tier effects because most of their pros are = to their cons or they're just not flashy enough to be high tier and not dull enough to be low tier.

Low Tier:
Effects such as Bubbling, Haunted, Wealthy, Holiday Spirit, Confetti, Steampunk, Decked Out, and Sky Lanterns are considered low tier because of their dullness and the fact that a few of them are barely visible (Ex: Sky Lanterns or Steampunk).

Miscellaneous:
The Holiday Spirit mythical effect was unintentionally available to be unboxed from the Hawaii Map Mystery Boxes for a short time. Items that were unboxed with the effect are still tradable and marketable. Especially since these mythicals can't ever be unboxed again, they may be considered god tier according to personal opinion. The effects Divine and Rainbow have also been discontinued and also cannot be unboxed anymore.

Proof That I'm Actually Mythical Trader/Marketer

The reason why I have no mythicals in my inventory at the moment is because I cashed them out a few months ago. I've been trading for about 4 years now and have completed 100+ trades and 700+ market sales.

I disagree about high tide, bananza, Enchanted, and runes. High tide and bananza are pretty rare and not very easy to get. Honestly they're very different from the rest of the effects. As well with runes and enchated...they are both pretty flashy and look very good. A lot of the "high tier effects" I'd say wouldn't belong either...like pyrotechnic and burning for example are very simplistic compared to other effects
