Obviously, you need Erannorth Reborn.

DLC:

This guide makes use of the DLC Content from "Canticum Noctem".

Character Creation
New Character Creation Screen:
Make a new character, and select the following options.

Organization: "Order of Light"
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Order of Light will give you some of the best Light Cards, and is the backbone of the build concept.

Race: "Nephilim"⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Nephilim race has great synergy with any Cleric type build.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

While not a requirement, it is recommended that you already have the race mastery.
If you don't, following the build guide will still get you there pretty fast. Just play casual until you get,

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Class: "Exorcist"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Selecting Exorcist will complete the "Light" build concept, as many of the cards are complimentary to light.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Exorcist Class Mastery is better for the build concept. If you don't have it yet, it is easy to get. Just once again, play Casual until you get,

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Attributes:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Intellect = 15, so you start each round with 5 cards.
Wisdom = 17, Our most critical stat. We will pump this with perks every chance we get.
Resilience = 10, When you run higher tiers, or adventure mode and etc, this stat you will want to increase later in levels, only after your main stat (Wisdom), and your minor stat (Agility - for more AP), has reached acceptable levels.
Later you will appreciate the extra HP when you inevitably get hammered with some big blows.
Agility = Dump any remaining points here. The higher your mastery, the more you will have, which will only help your AP pool later... which you absolutely will appreciate having more later.
Strength = 14 Since you don't technically "need" much strength in this build, you could min/max here. I just leave it at default.
Charisma = 16 default.. minor boost to light. If you can spare a perk that raises this later, it only makes your light spells more powerful and harder to resist.

Finish personalizing your Cleric by Choosing Sex, Name, and Portrait.
Select "Normal", or "Casual" if you need to build Mastery points, and start the run as a "Light Domain Cleric".

Opening Setup
After you start a new game, press "C" to enter the character screen.

Perks:

You start with the perk "Order of Light".
Select the Following Additional Perks:

Cards:

Press "B", and setup your initial cards as: (Click image to see full size)

Superhuman Relex will not be of much use.. you will not have to many bad draws with a lean deck, and you need the AP for DPS!
Rune of Mending is not much use in this build.. as you will see as you play.
Beam of Darkness is counter to the theme of the build. We will replace these as soon as possible.
Personally, I don't take any cards that is not thematic to the build. It just makes it more immersive.

Equipment:
Press "E", and equip the "Order Recruit's Amulet". Use it at the start of each turn.
Defend +1
Light + 1
Using it will make the first few levels easier.

That completes the initial setup.

Light Magic Training gives +1 Light Damage, +1 Willpower

Perk = "Angelic Blood" - More Light Damage.. the negative resist is worth the hit
LP = 2
+1 Wisdom using LP

+2 Resilience using LP

Level 7 will take you through Normal Mode.

Beyond Normal:
After your normal run, in the main screen select "Book of Heroes".
You can now ascend your new Light Domain Cleric for an Adventure or Ironman run.

Thematic Perks for Higher Levels:
After Ascendance, pursue the Order Line of Perks, and throw in some perks in between that will boost your survival.

Farthing Wealth Pointers
Rules I follow to boost wealth:

1. Take Commodities over Equipment, Armor, or Weapons; Unless I see a High Tier item card that I know will sell well.
2. Check the Tier of each Card (Equipment, Armor, Weapon), and take the highest tier card.
3. Take an Item, such as a bomb, potion, etc, only if I think I will really "need" it later.... Like in a boss fight. Otherwise I can't sell it, and I missed out on an item I could sell!
4. Prioritize visiting merchants in stores, according to need. Otherwise it's nightfall, and I lose money on an Inn.
5. Watch out for overselling commodities and items. Your Farthing stash is capped, and you're no longer selling, your giving.
Merchant Tip: If you don't see the type card you really need, click that merchant again and it will refresh.

Cards to Collect - Normal Run
Tip: Don't forget to check your Deck Builder after you level. Some of these Cards you may find there.

Protection Spells:
Note on Protection Spells - A Light Cleric has high DPS, so be careful not to gimp it.
Limit Protection Spells to 1 or 2 after you get past the first few levels.

Angelic Shield:

Decent - Boosts Light, Echos, with +1 Defend and a small Heal.
Good at lower levels. Better options later.

Better Options if seen on a normal run

Damage Spells:
Tip - Limit your spells that only damage one type (i.e. undead) to 1, or 2 at the most. You can get a bad draw, and not do much damage when not facing that type.
Always have at least 2 that are "Ranged"; Flying Pixies or Harpies anyone?

There are others, but that should give you the ideal.
Don't take Slashing, Bludgeoning, etc type damage spells. You are not a Sword and Board. You are a Holy Freaking Divine Beacon of Light. Evil melts in your very presence - Rejoice!

Support Spells:
Tip - I generally will have a mix of 3 - 4 of these type spells, but no more than that.

Allies:
This is the first "Ally" card you will look to buy. Don't buy any other card until you can sell commodities and equipment, weapons, etc, until you have the money to buy it.
After you get it, drop your heal spells to zero, and this will be the only heal you will ever need, plus it builds defense.

Afterwards, look for these, and get one each as you can. Exhaust them for their "Special", which will put a card in your hand that will face-melt the Evil and Undead.

Synergy Examples
Example 1:
Cast "Inscribe Runes", followed by "Veil Breach"

Then use the summoned sword to mop up.
(Now fall down and repent for using such a wicked spell as "Veil Breach", and rid your deck of that evil card ASAP!)

Example 2:
Cast "Order Recruit's Amulet", "Angelic Blessing", "Divine Blade", ending with "Heavenly Fire".
That combo cast on a mob of Evil or Undead is devastation... Sinners Weep

Example 3:
Any Combination of "Rune of Power", or "Divine Blade" followed by a damage spell. When possible boost your multi-cast spells.
Tenets of the Faith
Thou Shalt Not Take Cards that are not "Light" cards (Sun Emblem).
Thou Shalt Dump Cards from Starting hand, as fast as possible, that are not thematic to the build (Dark Cards).
Thou Shalt NEVER take a Dark Card; Flee Temptation.
Thou Shalt CTRL + Click Light Cards to Stash, that you don't have an immediate use for when selecting rewards.
Thou Shalt Not Take Any Evil Items, Devices, Armor, Weapons or Equipment
Thou Shalt Not Weary Thyself with Slashing, Bludgeoning, Piercing Cards in thy Deck.
Thou Shalt Stick to the Thematic Theme

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy playing a Holy Cleric of Light.
This guide only touches the surface of a really fun build I have enjoyed playing.
As you try the build, you will realize more potential than this guide covers.
Have fun, and walk in the light.
