RE3 Remake Remington 870 Express Field Gun (Wooden Shotgun)

A 12 gauge pump action shotgun used by Robert Kendo featured in one of the cutscenes in Resident Evil 3 Remake is the Remington 870 Express Field Gun. This firearm is a cutscene only weapon and cannot be used in-game by the player, since the shotgun role is being fulfilled by the Benelli M3.
One interesting note is that the Remington 870 used by Kendo in RE3 Remake is a different variant from RE2 Remake. The Model 870 featured in RE2 is the Police Magnum variant with an extended magazine tube, and moreover an usable weapon in-game. However, the change in shotgun variants could be just due to Kendo stockpiling his arsenal of weapons during the zombie outbreak, since the Field Gun variant was seen covered with dirt and blood.

The Model 870 from Remington Arms is a very popular American designed 12 gauge pump action shotgun. Due to it's ease of operation and reliability, the Model 870 has been favoured by civilians, police officers and military units all around the world as their shotgun of choice.
