3089 Quick Guide to Building

This is a quick look at all the different things you can build in 3089. The title probably made that clear, but Steam made me write something here. Blame them. Thanks for checking out my video!

Got it. I didn't expect the main menu to do something useful in-game. Only used that "Save and Exit" button. Now I'm enlightened. :blugem:

Sure! After you've built your teleporter, go some distance away (like to an enemy base) and then hit ESC, and choose 'Engage Teleporter.' This will bring up a message asking you to confirm that you want to use the teleporter, and what the cost is.

After you click 'Yes,' you'll be transported back to your teleporter. To return to where you just teleported FROM, just get close to the teleporter and press 'E' (by default) while looking at it. This doesn't cost you anything; there is only a cost when you return to your teleporter, and the cost is based on how far away from it you are.

Note that you can instantly return to your current 'Backup' station for free (again, through the ESC menu), so it may not make sense to build your teleporter near it, unless you want to be able to go to back where you were before you teleported "home."

I hope this answered your question. If you have a specific question about teleporting, feel free to ask!
