Terraria Boss Ideas 10: Tomato Event
By Okami Tomato
A small, extra addition to Boss Ideas 10

Some people have been asking for a return of a certain event for quite some time, and now I can finally provide!

As usual this isn't a guide, and is just a place to store the information neatly for people to see it (Same as the usual boss ideas stuff)

Anyways, enjoy :)

Overview
"The Tomato Armies"

Back again from Boss Ideas 1, the Tomato Armies have been overhauled and have had significant changes to wave progression, sprites, enemy actions, and difficulty.

Additionally, enemies previously only seen in events like Boss Ideas 5's Tomato Arena and Boss Ideas 7's Discordians have also been incorporated into the event, as well as some obviously new stuff.

Enemies will be discussed first, then Mini Bosses, then Bosses, Waves, and then final notes.

Anyways, lets go!
Wave Structure
The structure of this event will be somewhere between the Old One's Army and Terraria's more standard events.
The event ends if completed or if the player runs out of tokens.

Waves:
The event is broken down into 40 waves in total; with certain groups accessed at certain points in progression.
-In Pre-Hardmode there are 6 waves, with the 4th wave containing a special Mini-Boss and the final wave ending on a boss.
-In Hardmode there are now 15 waves, all enemies are buffed, and more bosses are present during waves aside from just the final one. More enemy types also appear.
-Post-Moon lord brings the wave cap to 30, buffs all enemies again, and adds a lot more enemies and bosses.
-Finally, Post-Behemoth adds the final few enemy buffs and caps the wave count at 40. A lot of the enemy additions are bosses, or involve fights against buffed versions of prior bosses in a pseudo boss rush.

Wave Progression:
Regular waves progress by defeating regular enemies, with 100% continuing onto the next wave.
Boss waves, however, can only be progressed by defeating the boss (or bosses) present in the wave.

Enemies:
Regular enemies act as expected; appearing regularly on any waves that they are present. However, there are also 2 other types of enemy that have specific properties.

Mini Bosses have spawning limits; with only 1 of each type of mini-boss being allowed to spawn at a time. Additionally, if one is defeated, there is a cooldown before another may spawn that varies between waves and mini bosses.

Bosses are necessary to defeat in order to progress the wave. Only 1 may spawn during a wave unless despawned accidentally, where it will respawn immediately. Usually defeating a boss immediately ends the wave, unless multiple are present.

Additionally, all enemies receive damage reduction bonuses Post-Moon Lord, and this goes up further Post-Behemoth.

Lives:
The player is given a Toma-token at the start of the event, 2 once Post-Moon Lord, which act as lives.
If the player dies with tokens in their inventory a token is consumed immediately and the player's progress through the event is saved to the last cleared wave.
If the player dies with no tokens in their inventory then the event restarts from wave 1

Tokens can additionally be earned throughout the event by defeating enough enemies, which adds to an invisible point tally that gives extra tokens when filled. Different enemies provide different amounts, but the amounts needed for tokens also goes up based on how many tokens the player has, and as to what tier the event is (higher tier = harder to get tokens).
Small Tomato, Tomato Warrior, Slime Rider
Small Tomato

Appearance: A small, round tomato.

Stats:
Health: 40 (65) / 200 (300) / 450 (625) / 1050 (1650)
Attack: 25 (40) / 50 (90) / 80 (150) / 350 (530)
Defence: 5 / 10 / 15 / 30

Attacks:
PH: Slowly hops at the player. Essentially just a fancy fighter AI. Incapable of opening doors on any difficulty.
HM: Gains knockback resistance and can jump higher.
ML: Can open doors in both Normal and Expert mode.
BM: Increased knockback resistance

Defeat: Poofs into red particles, similar to a recall potion.

Drops: Just money and a very rare drop chance for a Tomato Mask. Considered the 'regular' tomato drops.

Lore: The simplest and smallest units of the Tomato Army, they are still quite durable for their size.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-Despite hopping like a slime in its animation, and being rounded, it doesn't act like a slime and instead acts like a fighter AI enemy.

Tomato Warrior

Appearance: The first humanoid tomato. It wears a set of red and grey armour.

Stats:
Health: 80 (115) / 300 (450) / 675 (1000) / 2000 (3240)
Attack: 28 (42) / 55 (96) / 88 (165) / 360 (542)
Defence: 8 / 15 / 50 / 100

Attacks:
PH: Walks at the player. Basic fighter AI. High knockback resistance.
HM: Knockback resistance is greater. Can open doors even in Normal Mode.
ML: Significantly increased knockback resistance
BM: No non-stat changes

Defeat: Poofs into red particles, similar to a recall potion.

Drops: Regular drops, as well as a Red Steel Breastplate and Red Steel Greaves once Post-Moon Lord

Lore: More combat-trained than its smaller counterparts, these armoured warriors are well-prepped for taking a hit or two

Hints/ Extra Info:
-The armour from the original event returns here as a drop, and can still also provide a massive regen boost if the tomato mask is worn alongside it.

Slime Rider

Appearance: A small tomato riding a large, red slime. It has a saddle on it and is (somehow) holding a set of reins.

Stats: (Slime)
Health: 50 (75) / 250 (375) / 550 (750) / 1450 (2000)
Attack:
-25 (40) / 50 (90) / 80 (150) / 350 (530) (Melee)
-50 (75) / 100 (150) / 145 (200) / 400 (600) (Crushed)
Defence: 0

Attacks:
PH: Slow-moving horizontally, but has a very impressive jump. Will try to jump and land on the player for extra damage. Knockback immune.
HM: The rider has its own hitbox; defeating the rider doesn't stop the slime, but defeating the slime first will leave a Small Tomato
ML: Increased max jump height
BM: No non-stat changes

Defeat: Explodes into red slimy gibs. Drops a Small Tomato if in Hardmode or later.

Drops: Drops gel and a rare chance for a Fruity Saddle which summons a red tomato mount. Doesn't drop regular tomato drops.

Lore: Having befriended large slimes, these tomatoes are brave enough to ride them into battle and utilise their impressive jump height for a fight.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-The Slime itself lacks any regular tomato drops due to not being a tomato itself, and is thus one of the only enemies in the event unable to drop the mask. After Hardmode its rider can drop the mask as it acts like a Small Tomato.

Tomarcher, ToMageTo, Tombardier
Tomarcher

Appearance: Similar looking to the Tomato Warrior, but carrying a bow

Stats:
Health: 70 (102) / 250 (375) / 585 (800) / 1500 (2650)
Attack:
-25 (40) / 48 (86) / 70 (150) / 300 (475) (Melee)
-33 (50) / 64 (108) / 100 (175) / 400 (600) (Arrow)
Defence: 5 / 10 / 20 / 40

Attacks:
PH: Acts like standard archer AI
HM: Will now crouch down before shooting. Immune to knockback whilst crouched. Arrows are now poisonous.
ML: Arrows are now venomous, arrow velocity increased
BM: No non-stat changes

Defeat: Poofs into red particles, similar to a recall potion.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, the Red Steel armour, and can drop a bow in Hardmode, a Venom Arrow Quiver Post-Moon Lord, and finally a Chaotic Quiver Post-Behemoth.

Lore: Skilled archers in the Tomato Army, armed with their signature type of bow.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-The bow they carry seems to be the same as the Toma-bow, which the original archers used to drop
-The armour, while similar, has some very slight differences to the Tomato Warrior's armour near the shoulders

ToMageTo

Appearance: A tomato in red mage robes. Seems to wear a party hat.

Stats:
Health: 50 (75) / 185 (290) / 400 (625) / 850 (1250)
Attack:
-25 (40) / 48 (86) / 70 (150) / 300 (475) (Melee)
-33 (50) / 64 (108) / 100 (175) / 400 (600) (Magic)
Defence: 8 / 12 / 22 / 35

Attacks:
PH: Acts like regular caster AI
HM: Will fire its magic bolts at the player faster. More knockback resistance.
ML: Will now fire a single arc of 3 bolts instead of 3 individual shots before teleporting. Bolts can no longer be destroyed. Cannot be stopped firing bolts anymore.
BM: Teleport faster. Bolts move faster

Defeat: Poofs into red particles, similar to a recall potion.

Drops: Regular tomato items, as well as sometimes a Ruby Robe in Pre-Hardmode, a staff in Hardmode, a magic damage boosting accessory Post-Moon Lord and finally a powerful magic tome Post-Behemoth. Very slim chance to also drop a red party hat whenever.

Lore: They are skilled mages, despite their choice of headwear. It is uncertain as to why they wear party hats.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-The robes it wears are closer to the magic robes the player can craft than their original appearance.
-ToMageToes have some of the most abundant drops of any regular enemy in the event, dropping a total of 6 unique items (5 not counting the Tomato Mask).

Tombardier

Appearance: A tomato in a grey jacket carrying a backpack of explosives

Stats:
Health: ? / 285 (415) / 600 (825) / 1650 (2885)
Attack:
? / 48 (86) / 70 (150) / 300 (475) (Melee)
? / 72 (120) / 120 (215) / 430 (675) (Bomb)
Defence: ? / 25 / 40 / 65

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Slowly walks toward the player. Once close enough it will load a bomb into a grenade launcher and shoot at the player, similar to the Archer AI. The bomb explodes on impact with a solid block or player.
HM: Bomb's projectile speed increased, knockback resistance increased
BM: Explosion radius increased, will now drop a grenade on defeat that deals the same damage as its bomb projectiles

Defeat: Poofs into red particles, similar to a recall potion. Can also leave behind a grenade Post-Behemoth.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as a backpack that can reduce ammo usage and a weak grenade launcher in Hardmode, a stronger rocket launcher Post-Moon Lord, and finally an even stronger grenade launcher Post-Behemoth.

Lore: An explosives expert carrying a backpack full of all types of explosive. Not exactly the safest idea, but danger is their collective middle name

Hints/ Extra Info:
-They need to get close to the player to shoot, so high knockback weapons work well on them
-Originally its outfit had grenades on it and was closer to TF2's Demoman in terms of design, but it didn't work as well as a sprite and thus this idea wasn't used
-The Tombardier was the final regular enemy to be designed for the event, aside from one of the secret characters
[Added: 5/9/20]
Shieldmato, Tomatocopter, Tomengineer
Shieldmato

Appearance: A small tomato carrying a magic, but seemingly heavy, shield

Stats:
Health:
-? / 200 (300) / 450 (625) / 1050 (1650) (Tomato)
-? / 400 (850) / 1200 (2850) / 10000 (17850) (Shield Barrier)
Attack: ? / 50 (90) / 80 (150) / 350 (530)
Defence:
-? / 10 / 15 / 30 (Tomato)
-? / 0 / 50 / 200 (Shield Barrier)

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Slowly lugs the shield along. Has a large barrier around itself that protects it and nearby allies from all damage until destroyed. Cannot regenerate the barrier once broken. Knockback immune.
ML: Barrier size increased, barrier can regenerate after 30 seconds once broken, player will now experience rapid health drain if inside its barrier
BM: Barrier size increased, barrier regenerates after 20 seconds

Defeat: Poofs into red particles, similar to a recall potion.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as sometimes a defence-granting shield in Hardmode, a barrier-providing accessory once Post-Moon Lord, and finally a powerful enchanted shield Post-Behemoth that provides knockback immunity, defence, and some debuff immunities.

Lore: Tasked with carrying enchanted shields with which to protect their allies. Any friends in the barrier will be defended by its powerful magic.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-They were originally going to act as they did in the original event, where they had high defence from whichever direction they faced and could deflect projectiles, but this was scrapped due to being fairly underwhelming and the deflect damage being too lethal once Post-Moon Lord.

Tomatocopter

Appearance: A small tomato riding inside a small, red helicopter

Stats:
Health: ? / 500 (750) / 1000 (1600) / 4000 (7000)
Attack:
-? / 60 (100) / 105 (200) / 400 (600) (Melee)
-? / 55 (96) / 88 (165) / 360 (542) (Bullet)
Defence: ? / 20 / 75 / 500

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Will fly up to the player before stopping and shooting a volley of 3 bullets at them. After shooting it will reposition itself and shoot again if needed. Unlike the Slime Rider, it does not drop a Small Tomato upon defeat.
ML: Movement speed increased, shoots a volley of 4 bullets instead of the usual 3. At 5% health it will also begin attempting to ram the player and will stop shooting altogether.
BM: Move speed increased, at the end of its bullet volley it will also launch an explosive missile that accelerates rapidly as it travels. At 10% health it will stop shooting and begin simply trying to ram the player

Defeat: The tomato poofs into red particles, whereas the copter itself explodes into fiery gibs

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as a rare chance to drop the Heli-Pack wings in Hardmode, or the Copter Keys once Post-Moon Lord that summons a red helicopter mount

Lore: While it's undetermined if they actually have aviation licenses or not, these high-flying copter pilots are skilled at both flying and shooting their mounted turrets

Hints/ Extra Info:
-Keeping a distance when you see one approach is the easiest way to avoid it firing bullets at the player. Their 'firing range' is actually quite small, and only increases very mildly Post-Moon Lord and Post-Behemoth.

Tomengineer

Appearance: A tomato wearing a green hard hat, goggles, and carrying an oversized wrench on his back.

Stats:
Health: ? / 200 (300) / 450 (625) / 1050 (1650)
Attack: ? / 50 (90) / 80 (150) / 350 (530)
Defence: ? / 30 / 100 / 500

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Like a Small Tomato in motion, but capable of building either sentries or teleporters. A sentry shoots at the player when they're nearby and have similar stats to the engineer itself, and only 1 can be active. When building teleporters he will build one and then teleport, building the other where it teleports to. The teleporters are set up so the exit is close to the player, and only 1 pair of teleporters can be active. Teleporters cannot be destroyed; simply disappearing shortly after the Engineer is defeated.
ML: Maximum of 2 sentries can be build and their active range is greater. Teleporters linger for longer after their respective Engineer has been defeated.
BM: Sentry range is greater

Defeat: Engineer poofs into red particles, though the buildings explode into gibs.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, wires, and a chance to drop a boomerang-like wrench in hardmode. Once Post-Moon Lord it can drop an accessory that gives the player 2 orbital turrets or a 'Teleporter on a Stick' which works identically to the Rod of Discord. Can also drop his hard hat on any difficulty or tier.

Lore: A PHD here and there in robotics and engineering has turned these once small and seemingly innocent tomatoes into masters of machines.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-The Tomengineer is a reference to TF2's Engineer, made most obvious by the hat and goggles. The wrench they carry is also very similar to the stock Wrench.
[Added: 6/9/20]
UTO, Ninjamato, Tomaladin
UTO

Appearance: A flying saucer with a tomato poking out of the top of it

Stats:
Health: ? / ? / 1200 (2000) / 5000 (8500)
Attack:
-? / ? / 80 (155) / 300 (475) (Melee, Laser)
-? / ? / 100 (200) / 420 (635) (Deathray)
Defence: ? / ? / 55 / 400

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Will quickly fly to a random position near the player, shooting a volley of lasers at the player's position when it had stopped moving. Afterward it will fly above the player and stop before releasing a large deathray downward. It cannot move whilst firing the deathray. Cycle then repeats anew.
BM: Moves faster generally, but also capable of slow movement whilst firing the deathray. Deathray is also shot for longer.

Defeat: The tomato poofs into red particles, whereas the saucer explodes into gibs

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as a 'Saucer on a String' hat whenever. It can drop a UTO mount that functions near identically to the Martian Madness UFO mount, and finally once Post-Behemoth it can drop a sword that acts similar to the Influx Waver and a summoner staff that summons mini UTOs to help the player.

Lore: Are they aliens from another world? Using tech stolen from spacemen? Or just very fond of Sci-Fi movies? Who knows?

Hints/ Extra Info:
-Their attack pattern is very reminiscent of the Martian Saucers, as their laser barrage is near identical and the deathray is also quite similar, but moreso once buffed again Post-Behemoth.
--Additionally, 3 of its drops also act similar to things the Saucer drops.

Ninjamato

Appearance: A small tomato wearing all black, carrying some sort of sword

Stats:
Health: ? / ? / 400 (585) / 800 (1200)
Attack:
-? / ? / 80 (150) / 350 (530) (Melee)
-? / ? / 150 (280) / 550 (658) (Sword Strike)
Defence: ? / ? / 10 / 20

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Will appear near the player, horizontally-aligned to them, remaining motionless for a brief time. After a few seconds an '!' will appear in front of it and it will perform a long-range horizontal dash at extreme speed, dealing heavy damage if the player was in the way of the strike. Afterwards, it will sheath its sword, disappear and despawn.
BM: Sword slash is a little faster, and the maximum dash range is greatly increased

Defeat: Poofs into red particles and pieces of fabric

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as being capable of dropping pieces of a 'Refined Ninja Gear' armour set. Can also drop the Black Belt, Tabi, Tiger Climbing Gear, or sometimes even the Master Ninja Gear outright. Post-Behemoth it can drop its sword, which allows the player to dash horizontally while invulnerable and damage enemies on hit, but has a cooldown.

Lore: Trained on a mixture of old scrolls and cheesy 80s movies, the Ninjamato is surprisingly adept at the idea of stealthy, powerful strikes against its enemies.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-Simply moving up or down when seeing the Ninjamato will allow the player to dodge its strike, as it cannot move vertically at all.
-It is technically the only event enemy that can be defeated without the player attacking it, as it will disappear shortly after attempting its strike.
--This does lead to something if the player does this several times in a single wave.

Tomaladin

Appearance: A small tomato wearing a disproportionately large set of armour

Stats: (Regular Enemy Variant)
Health: ? / 1000 (1450) / 3000 (5000) / 8500 (12,500)
Attack: ? / 60 (100) / 100 (175) / 385 (580)
Defence: ? / 40 / 120 / 350

Stats: (Mini Boss Variant)
Health: 500 (750) / 2000 (2850) / 5000 (7250) / 100,000 (164,000)
Attack: 30 (45) / 62 (105) / 110 (188) / 375 (550)
Defence: 12 / 50 / 150 / 300

Attacks:
PH: Will slowly walk at the player. May occasionally perform a large leap to gain ground faster and to close the gap with the player. Knockback immune.
HM: Can now swing its arms down to perform a slam attack when close to the player. The slam also creates a very short-ranged shockwave. More likely to perform the leap attack than before.
ML: Increased base movement speed, shockwave range increased
BM: Increased base movement speed and leap range, leaps move often, will create a shockwave upon landing from the leap also.

Defeat: Tomato poofs into red particles, though the armour will fall to pieces as it does so and leaves gibs.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as an increased chance to drop the Red Steel armour pieces. In Hardmode it can drop the Paladin's gauntlet which is a shortsword-like rapid punch as well as Gambeson, an accessory that grants increased defence and mild damage reduction. Post-Moon Lord it can drop a throwing axe that flies in a predetermined arc and deals heavy melee damage, as well as Refined Gambeson that acts like the original, but with greater defensive use.

Lore: In order to make up for its small and cute appearance, these tomatoes have began utilising colossal suits of armour to kick up their intimidation factor.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-The Tomaladin is the first mini-boss tier enemy the player will likely encounter in the event, spawning as early as wave 4, and having a crucial role in wave 5.
-Tomaladins are the only enemy that fills both regular enemy and mini boss status depending on the wave
--Other enemies that fill 2 roles always fill mini boss and boss roles, and never as regular enemies, making the Tomaladin unique.
-The Axe dropped by the Tomaladin is both a Castlevania reference, as well as a reference to the scrapped Executomato enemy from the original Tomato Army from Boss Ideas 1
[Added: 6/9/20]
Captomato, Tomimic
Mini bosses
Captomato

Appearance: A tomato wearing a hat and carrying a backpack. A tomato-styled flag waves behind him.

Stats:
Health: 400 (650) / 1500 (2350) / 4000 (6000) / 80,000 (132,500)
Attack: 25 (40) / 50 (90) / 80 (150) / 350 (530)
Defence: 7 / 12 / 25 / 60

Attacks:
PH: The Captain will move at the same speed as a Small Tomato, but has attacks and abilities with which to support itself and its teammates.
-It can gain a temporary speed boost and 'run' toward the player for a few seconds.
-It may pull out a trumpet, blowing on it. Doing this will provide either offensive or defensive buffs to itself and other nearby allies. The buffs wear off after around 10 seconds.
--If it shows a red aura around the buffed tomatoes, then all buffed allies will deal an additional 10% damage
--If it shows a green aura around the buffed tomatoes, then all buffed allies will gain 5 defence and a 10% damage reduction
HM: Move speed increased mildly. AoE for buffs increased slightly, and boosts are enhanced slightly: Red aura now providing a 15% damage buff, and Green aura now providing 15 defence and a 12% damage reduction.
ML: AoE for buffs increased again, and buffs now last 15 seconds. Red aura provides +15% damage and a 1/5 chance for attacks to inflict Terraflow, and Green aura provides +50 defence and a +20% damage reduction. Will begin sometimes intentionally stacking buffs by using one buff type and then immediately using the other.
BM: AoE range increased. Red aura provides +20% damage and a 50% chance to inflict Terraflow, and Green aura provides +150 defence and +25% damage reduction.

Defeat: Poofs into red particles. Buffed allies retain their buffs until they would have faded normally.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as its hat Pre-Hardmode. In Hardmode it can also drop the Red Banner or Green Banner accessories, with the former providing a damage buff and the latter a defence buff. Post-Moon Lord it can drop the Bountiful Backpack which reduces ammo and mana consumption.
Additionally, defeating a buffed enemy will cause it to drop more coins than normal, which can also apply to the Captain.

Lore: A member of the tomato armies that ranks a little higher than his allies. He uses his additional tools to support his teammates with a powerful rallying buff.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-The Captomato's cap, backpack and banner are another TF2 reference, and one that was also present in the original Tomato Army event to some extent.
-The Captomato will always buff itself when trying to buff allies, so it will often receive the money drop bonus when defeated
-Originally, its buffs were intended to also allow allies to heal themselves or to rarely deal critical hits against the player. These have since been reused elsewhere.

Tomimic

Appearance: A large red and green present that is actually a Mimic. Inside its mouth are a group of small tomatoes.

Stats: (Mini Boss Variant)
Health: ? / 3000 (5500) / 9000 (16,500) / 90,000 (150,500)
Attack:
-? / 70 (120) / 145 (230) / 410 (618) (Melee)
-? / 60 (100) / 110 (188) / 360 (545) (Grenades)
Defence: ? / 50 / 200 / 500

Stats: (Boss Variant)
Health: 4000 (6000) / 10,000 (24,000) / 50,000 (73,500) / 1,500,000 (2,450,000)
Attack:
-60 (100) / 80 (132) / 160 (250) / 500 (650) (Melee)
-30 (50) / 65 (108) / 120 (200) / 400 (600) (Grenades)
Defence: 20 / 60 / 300 / 650

Attacks:
PH: The Mimic acts similar to biome mimics; hopping 3/4 times before using one of its attacks. Notably, however, it takes longer to jump than a biome mimic.
-It may jump up above the player and attempt to land on them
-It may perform 3 leaps at the player in a row, with the third leap having more distance than the others
-It may spit out 2-3 Small Tomatoes
-It may release a cluster of grenades randomly around itself. All the grenades released will be the same type of grenade, but the general type can either be regular, sticky or bouncy randomly. These grenades do not explode on contact with the player.
HM: Will gradually begin to speed up as it takes damage. Grenades are launched with more velocity and can now explode on contact with the player if they haven't touched the ground yet.
ML: Stops summoning Small Tomatoes. Grenades have more velocity, larger explosion radii, and will explode on contact with the player if touched at any point, even after landing.
BM: Move speed and jump height increased. Grenades have more velocity and more are launched at a time. Health buffed drastically [Boss Variant Only]

Defeat: Explodes into gibs of small ribbons. Will also always leave behind 4-5 Small Tomatoes on death.

Drops: Usually drops a small cluster of Hearts. Pre-Hardmode it will leave behind various types of Grenade. Sometimes in Hardmode it will drop the Vine Whip, a decently-strong summoner whip, Post-Moon Lord it can drop a Mystery Box which provides 2 random buffs and a random debuff on use that has a cooldown, as well as a flail that works like the KO Cannon, and finally Post-Behemoth it may drop a magic weapon that launches a mimic-shaped projectile at enemies. It cannot drop the Tomato Mask, but it can drop a present-shaped mask instead.

Lore: A friendly mimic to the tomatoes, but not to you. I'm afraid this is a present you'll probably want to decline next time.

Extra Info:
-The Tomimic now more closely resembles the Present Mimics from the Frost Moon than the original Biome Mimics it was based on. It is also the only mimic-like enemy without visible teeth.
-The Tomimic acts as the event's final boss in Pre-Hardmode, appearing as a boss on Wave 6.

Soldiermato, Wyvern Rider
Soldiermato

Appearance: A small tomato wearing a large soldier helmet and carrying a rocket launcher.

Stats:
Health: ? / 1750 (2500) / 4500 (7000) / 82,500 (140,000)
Attack:
-? / 65 (112) / 100 (195) / 375 (565) (Melee)
-? / 80 (140) / 145 (235) / 440 (675) (Rocket)
Defence: ? / 20 / 40 / 75

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: The Soldiermato slowly walks at the player, but will frequently stop to use attacks.
-Usually, he will load a rocket into his launcher and fire it at the player. The rocket explodes on contact with blocks or the player, exploding with a large explosion, and dealing heavy damage.
-If close enough to the player it will pull out a shovel and swing it. This deals regular melee damage, but increases his range.
-If the player is too high to reach he will aim his launcher at the ground and 'rocket jump'. He takes no damage, but it does suddenly accelerate him into the air for increased vertical mobility.
ML: Rocket speed and explosion radius increased. Shovel swing speed increased also
BM: No major changes

Defeat: Poofs into red particles.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as a chance of dropping his helmet. Post-Moon Lord he can drop his rocket launcher and an accessory called 'The art of battle' which provides general stat buffs to the player when equipped.

Lore: Obsessed with his weapon of choice, this surprisingly-durable member of the tomato army is more than well-enough equipped for battle, even if he actually wasn't invited.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-Probably the most obvious TF2 reference in the event, donning a red version of Soldier's helmet that even covers its eyes, and a very similar rocket launcher. A few of its damage numbers are also taken from TF2 (Namely the 65 and 195 for melee damage).
--Additionally, the book he drops is a reference to 'The Art of War' by Sun Tzu, which TF2's Soldier references in his 'Meet the Team' short.

Wyvern Rider(s)

Appearance: Gold-armoured tomatoes, both of whom are riding small white dragons. Of these wyverns is white and red and the other white and green.

Attack:

-? / 50 (90) / 78 (148) / 333 (508) (Fireball)
Defence: ? / 15 / 50 / 100

[Additionally, the Red Wyvern has an additional 10% damage, and the Green Wyvern has 10% damage resistance]

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: The Wyvern Riders will try to stay near to the player, flying close to them but also usually trying to stay above the player. They will use attacks every few seconds.
-It may begin to fly after the player rapidly for a few seconds
-It may charge at the player, stopping briefly at the end of the charge
-It may launch an arc of 3 fireballs at the player
-It may launch a large ball of wind at the player. This attack is homing for a few seconds, but the homing effect weakens afterward until it's eventually entirely gone.
Both a Red Wyvern and Green Wyvern are summoned together. If the red one is defeated the green will receive their 10% damage bonus on top of their defence buffs, and vice versa. [Boss Variant Only]
ML: Move speed increased. Chasing speed increased.
BM: Will now shoot an arc of 5 fireballs instead of 3. Wind Ball is faster and takes longer for the homing effect to deteriorate. Charges are significantly faster and have less end lag.

Defeat: Disappears into red particles. Unlike other mounts the Wyvern also disappears without leaving gibs.
Defeating their boss variant also unlocks 2 new hairstyles from the Stylist.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, but can also drop the Wyvern Spear and Wyvern Wings in Hardmode, Post-Moon Lord they can drop a Storm Talon that increases damage, movement speed and allows attack to inflict Electrified.

Lore: Riders who have tamed powerful dragons to aid them. The riders carry very little so that they aren't too cumbersome for their wyverns.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-Originally, the riders would have been able to attack independently of their wyverns. However, this would have forced the player to essentially keep tabs on 4 boss-like targets with their boss variants and didn't seem as fun.
--Therefore, the reason they aren't carrying weapons is mentioned in their lore entry.
--The idea of 'rider and mount attacking separately' was, however, recycled later for a boss
-The Wyverns themselves are a reference to OmegaFerretMusic, or more specifically some of the art depicting his ferrets
--Admittedly much of it is mine but never mind that bit

Defence: ? / 18 / 50 / 200

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Will move at the speed of a Tomato Warrior, occasionally using one of its magic abilities.
-He may shoot an arc of 4 magic spheres at the player
-He may raise his staff, summoning a large magic aura. Any tomatoes in said aura will receive +5% damage and damage reduction, as well as the ability to heal back 10% of the damage they deal as lifesteal for 10 seconds.
-He may slam his staff into the ground, causing the ground beneath the player to glow briefly. A large ball of magic will erupt from there afterward, travelling upward at incredible speed [Boss Variant Only]
ML: The staff slam attack can now be performed by the mini boss variant also, and the magic blast will release magic spheres randomly as it travels. Its buff ability is stronger; now providing +10% damage and damage reduction, as well as a 50% lifesteal effect, for 15 seconds.
BM: The arc will consist of 5 projectiles now, with the central one being a smaller version of the magic blast that does the same amount of damage, but doesn't release its own magic spheres. Buff ability is stronger also; providing a +15% damage and damage reduction effect, and a 1000% lifesteal effect, for 20 seconds.

Defeat: Falls over and magic mirrors away. His staff is sent spinning into the air, landing just after he teleports.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, but can also drop a sword and magic tome in Hardmode. Post-Moon Lord he can drop his sceptre, another powerful magic weapon, and a Tomato Staff that works like a far stronger version of the slime staff. Post-Behemoth he can drop the Crown Jewel which enhances magic and summoner abilities, provides immunity to certain debuffs, and reduces the DoT effects of some other debuffs also. He can also drop his crown Post-Behemoth, but it is purely vanity.

Lore: The official ruler of the tomatoes, armed with a powerful sceptre. He couldn't help but join in on the action.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-As with the Captomato, enemies who are buffed drop more coins if defeated while the buff is still active.
-Additionally, the King's and Captomato's buffs can actually stack with each other if they are in close proximity.
-The King will only spawn on waves that the Candy Cleric can, and will spawn at the same time if possible.

Candy Cleric

Appearance: A pink-haired lady in a cream and pink dress. She carries a large lollipop-like staff

Stats: (Mini Boss Variant)
Health: ? / 3750 (5750) / 7000 (12,000) / 100,000 (155,500)
Attack: ? / 45 (80) / 70 (128) / 275 (400)
Defence: ? / 20 / 45 / 145

Stats: (Boss Variant)

Attack: ? / 50 (84) / 76 (136) / 290 (440)
Defence: ? / 30 / 60 / 220

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Same speed as the Tomato Warriors, using her abilities depending on what the player does
-Usually, she will simply shoot an arc of 3 pink magic projectiles at the player
-If she hasn't taken any damage from the player for a while, she will be able to heal all tomatoes in a fairly short radius around her; healing a max of 1,000 health per heal.
-She may fire a barrage of pink projectiles at the player for a few seconds, adjusting the angle as the player moves. [Boss Variant Only]
ML: Boss-exclusive attack can now be performed by the mini boss variant also. Healing radius increased, and time between taking damage and being able to heal reduced. Can heal up to 5,000 health and is capable of healing herself also.
BM: Will try to heal allies more often, and can do so over a larger area. Can heal up to 25,000 health and the time between each possible healing attempt reduced.

Defeat: Falls over and magic mirrors away. Staff falls on the floor beside her as she teleports.

Drops: Can drop a vanity outfit based on herself, as well as a bow and a summoner staff in Hardmode. Can drop her Lollipop Staff Post-Moon Lord which heals the player as they deal damage. Post-Behemoth she can drop a Sugary Gemstone which provides a bit of defence, as well as increased life regen, potential lifesteal, and a mild speed boost. Cannot drop the Tomato Mask.

Lore: Experienced healer and very close friend of the Tomato King, the Candy Cleric aids his armies through her adept healing abilities.

Hints/ Extra Info:
-Traps will not reset her 'healing cooldown', meaning that she has the potential to make AFK farms useless (or just generally less useful)
-Her magic attacks actually act more to her detriment than an aid. Most of them give away her position even to airborne players, letting them know that she has spawned so she can be dealt with.
-Her ability to heal teammates may make CC one of the most threatening enemies in the entire event, despite her low damage.

Boss - Jetomato

Appearance: A tomato with a jetpack. He wears a helmet with a golden visor.

Stats:
Health: ? / 15,000 (25,500) / 48,000 (70,000) / 820,000 (999,999) (Jetomato)
Attack:
-? / 62 (105) / 110 (188) / 375 (550) (Melee)
-? / 50 (90) / 78 (148) / 333 (508) (Fireball)
-? / 50 (90) / 80 (150) / 350 (530) (Detonator)
Defence:
-20 / 200 / 2000 (Full Power)
--+75% / +80% / +85% Damage Resistance (Full Power)
-0 (Refuelling)

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: The Jetomato will repeat a cycle of charging at the player 3 times and then attacking.
-He may fly away from the player before charging them horizontally at high speed
-He may fly in an arc, releasing fireballs that travel toward the player as he does so
-He may dash horizontally above the player, dropping fireballs as he charges that fall straight downward
-He may throw 2-3 detonators at the player. These chase the player for a few seconds before exploding
After every 2nd cycle he will need to refuel; he will stop in place while a small tomato with a helicopter-like jetpack pours fuel into his jetpack. During this time the Jetomato cannot move or attack and his defence is 0, leaving him briefly vulnerable.
ML: Jetpack only needs to be refuelled every 3rd cycle. Maximum distance travelled when dashing increased. Fireball velocity increased. Will always release 3 detonators.
BM: Both horizontal dash attacks are faster and fireballs from the arc attack have a very mild homing ability. Detonators are significantly faster.

Defeat: Jetpack explodes, leaving the Jetomato smouldering and blackened with soot and ash. He slowly flies away afterward.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, and in Hardmode can drop his outfit as vanity. Post-Moon Lord allows him to also sometimes drop his jetpack that works as a decently powerful pair of wings and the Danger Badge; which increases damage based on health lost. Post-Behemoth also lets him drop the Afterburner flamethrower and a Torch Staff as a magic weapon.

Lore: A fast-flying and somewhat egotistical hotshot among the tomato army. Not very good with working with others, but at least he tries to.

Hints:
-Due to his high defence, most attacks against him will deal underwhelming damage until he needs to refuel. This time could be used to deal with the regular event enemies if they become a problem.
-DoT debuffs can somewhat bypass his defence by dealing set damage, however this becomes less effective on higher tiers due to his health increases

Extra Info:
-In the original event, the Jetomato was only a small tomato as opposed to humanoid, making it the only returning enemy to go from one body type to the other
--Additionally, this would theoretically mean that both of these Jetomatoes were different people
[Added: 7/9/20]
Boss - Big Boy

Appearance: A large, red tomato carrying a wooden shield and a sword that greatly resembles the Seedler.

Stats:
Health: ? / 13,500 (25,750) / 53,200 (78,500) / 785,000 (1,312,500)
Attack:
-? (?) / 62 (105) / 110 (188) / 375 (550) (Melee)
-? (?) / 55 (96) / 88 (165) / 360 (542) (Seed Bombs)
-? (?) / 64 (108) / 115 (188) / 400 (600) (Power Slash)
Defence:
-? / 12 / 50 / 100
--? / +65% / +80% / +90% Damage Resistance (Guarding)

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: The Big Boy will usually keep to one side of the player, keeping distance by either short hops or 'backflipping' away from the player. Roughly every few seconds he will try one of his main attacks.
-He may leap back before dashing at the player horizontally with his sword pointed outward
-He may perform a huge leap at the player, spinning his sword around him as he does so
-He may swing his sword, launching a cluster of explosive seeds towards the player. They explode randomly but only under the conditions of being close enough to the player, or if the distance between them and the player is increasing 1 second after being launched.
-He may perform a leap with a lot of vertical height, trying to reach the apex of the jump above the player, before slamming his sword downward
-He may guard with his shield. As he does so he cannot move, but gains increased damage resistance. Afterward he will release a powerful crescent-shaped projectile from his sword and drop his guard. The size of the slash's projectile depends on how much damage was taken when guardian, but has a size cap.
As his health gets lower, he will gradually speed up his attack cycles. Notably, however, he will also guard for a shorter amount of time as well, and his jumps and leaps are faster.
ML: Generally guards less often, attacks a little faster from the beginning
BM: Damage needed to increase the size of the crescent-shaped projectile reduced immensely, more seeds released during Seedler swing, can release some seeds when spinning through the air.

Defeat: Falls on his face, dropping his sword and shield. Poofs into a cluster of red particles afterwards.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as a Leafy Shield that increases defence and life regen and the Seedler itself. Post-Moon Lord he can drop the Mossy Whetstone which increases melee armour piercing, attack speed and damage and sometimes also the Jungle Bloom; which can be used to upgrade the Seedler. Finally, Post-Behemoth he can also drop the Fruit Saddle; which summons a large tomato mount that has high movement speed and jump height, but cannot fly.

Lore: A large version of an otherwise-small creature the tomato, dubbed 'Big Boy', by his peers, uses his extra size and strength to (somehow) carry powerful weapons.

Hints:
-Dashing works very well through a lot of this boss fight; it can prematurely trigger the seed explosions by dashing away from them, making them less threatening, and allows for an easier time dodging his leap attacks
-If he is guarding, it isn't recommended to attack him. Doing so usually deals minimal damage and helps him by powering up his counter-attack.

Extra Info:
-The Big Boy is named directly after a type of tomato; the Big Boy
-Big Boy is also one of only 2 event enemies to carry a vanilla weapon, specifically the Seedler, and the only one to appear outside of the Behemoth-tier event waves
-The Big Boy also makes an appearance in another boss's attack as a projectile, though has no other impact on that fight at all

Boss - Cherry

Appearance: A pink-haired tomato wearing 2 pieces of the Nebula armour

Stats:
Health: ? / ? / 48,250 (70,000) / 685,000 (1,000,000)
Attack:
-? / ? / 145 (200) / 400 (600) (Melee, Arcanum Blast)
-? / ? / 110 (188) / 375 (550) (Clone Melee, Clone Magic)
-? / ? / 88 (165) / 360 (542) (Nebula Bullet, Nebula Blast, Prediction Crystal)
Defence: ? / ? / 30 / 100

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Cherry moves similar to how LC does; teleporting around while firing off their various attacks. However, unlike LC, Cherry's attacks aren't in a predetermined order and are instead somewhat randomised.
-Cherry can summon several jagged portals near the player over the course of a few seconds. Each of these portals, after a second, will shoot a nebula bullet projectile before disappearing. The portals do not deal damage on their own
-Cherry can launch a large projectile, similar to the Nebula Arcanum's projectile. This will chase the player at high speeds and homes-in a lot better than a lot of other projectiles. After a few seconds it will explode violently
-Cherry may summon several crystals around herself before launching them at the player. As opposed to being launched directly at the player, they are launched toward the player's predicted path based on their movements
-Cherry may teleport around rapidly, launching a single nebula blast at the end of every teleport. The blasts have a mild homing effect. After a few seconds of rapidly teleporting she will eventually stop.
At half health Cherry will summon a clone of herself, identified by it being entirely pink, and continue her attack cycle. The clone attacks on its own, but will only ever follow a cycle of teleporting before launching a single orb of magic at the player with no special properties. The clone is invulnerable.
BM: Her attacks are generally faster than before, and her clone summoning is different: At 70% health she will summon the first clone, and a second at 40%, as well as a third and final clone at 10%. Clones can only teleport to a place in a specific radius around Cherry, but the radius is so large that it's unlikely to be noticed.

Defeat: Lets out a shout of surprise before disappearing into a cloud of pink particles. The clone does the same thing as well.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as the Nebula Arcanum and Nebula Blaze. May also drop the Nebula Core which provides a few general buffs to mage and summoner, and if visibility is left on will turn the player's hair pink. Post-Behemoth she can also drop the Cosmic Gauntlet, a general upgrade to the Nebula Blaze, a summoner staff, and a pink gun called the Kuiper Belt.

Lore: A tomato whose body is infused with the power of Nebula Fragments, explaining her magic powers and vivid pink hair.

Hints:
-Some of the ways of dealing with LC will work with her as well, due to her similar movement pattern, but many also won't due to her vastly different attacks
-Keeping on the move is recommended against her Bullet, Arcanum and Blast attacks
--Having a dash handy also makes dodging the Prediction Crystals easier, as they can be baited out with movement before charging away from their trajectory

Extra Info:
-Cherry, like with Big Boy, has a name based off of a tomato. However, as opposed to just being the obvious 'Cherry Tomato', it is actually specifically a reference to the 'Cherry Nebula' tomato, hence her Nebula aesthetic
-Cherry's attack patterns are mostly inspired by the Lunatic Cultist, as well as both the Nebula Pillar enemies and Nebula weapons. The Arcanum and Nebula Blasts are most obviously the Nebula weapons, but also to the Evolution Beast. The Predictor's crystal attack is referenced by her own, and the frantic teleportation of the Nebula Blast attack, as well as the Nebula Bullet attack, are a reference to the Nebula Floater. Finally, her general movement and attack pattern, as well as her clone-summoning abilities, are inspired by the Lunatic Cultist's abilities.

Boss - Tomato Mech

Appearance: A large robot in the shape of a tomato. It has 4 legs, 2 cannon-like arms, and its 'tuft' acts as its exhaust. A Tomengineer can be seen piloting it.

Stats:
Health:
-? / ? / 40,000 (62,000) / 685,000 (1,000,000) (Phase 1)
-? / ? / 23,500 (38,000) / 322,000 (438,000) (Phase 2)
Attack:
-? / ? / 110 (188) / 375 (550) (Phase 1 Melee, Missiles)
-? / ? / 88 (165) / 360 (542) (Flamethrower, Fireball) (Inflicts On Fire! - 100%)
-? / ? / 145 (205) / 405 (609) (Phase 2 Melee, Mines) (Inflicts On Fire! - 50%)
Defence: ? / ? / 75 / 400

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Phase 1:
The Mech will walk towards the player, firing fireballs from its arms roughly every second. He will frequently stop to use one of his other attacks. He can ignore blocks if needed, like some other grounded bosses.
-He may use the arms as flamethrowers; pointing the flames at the player and adjusting the angle as the player moves. After a few seconds he will stop
-He may fire a cluster of missiles from his arms. These are homing for the first few seconds, but lose their homing abilities afterwards
-He may fire a cluster of missiles skyward. After a few seconds they will begin raining down from the sky somewhat randomly
-He may leap towards the player. He also has the ability to hover for a few seconds as well if needed.
Once his health bar is depleted, the engineer's robot will explode partially and its legs will collapse. However, the main body of the mech will begin to fly, and Phase 2 will begin
Phase 2:
The mech will fly horizontally to the player most of the time, launching its fireballs horizontally until it's time to use one of its more powerful attacks, some of which have been buffed
-It will now move towards the player when using the flamethrower
-Instead of leaping at the player, it will now charge at the player instead at high speeds
-It does gain one new attack, where it releases a cluster of disc-like mines. These chase the player, but gradually decelerate. Once they stop moving they will remain motionless for a second before exploding
The speed of launching fireballs increases gradually as its health lowers
BM: Phase 1:
General move speed increases, leap height and distance buffed. More missiles present on attacks using them. Flamethrower range increased majorly.
Phase 2:
Flamethrower range buffed again and movement speed when using the flamethrower increased. More mines released during the mine attack.

Defeat: The mech explodes into gibs, launching the Tomengineer skyward at high speed

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as things like wires and the Tomengineer's own drops also in its drop pool. It can drop a flamethrower, mine launcher, or a Dud Missile which is an accessory that explodes whenever you take damage, hurting nearby enemies. Post-Behemoth it can also drop a rocket launcher or the Biofuel Cell which increases the player's stats and, when the player is low on health, significantly buffs their health regen.

Lore: A large machine engineer by only the finest Tomengineers. Believed to only be a prototype of the final project.

Hints:
-Keeping away from it is the most general way to keep yourself safe. Most of its attacks become less dangerous at a distance due to either limited range or temporary effects wearing off after a few seconds.

Extra Info:
-Despite the mech being the thing you face, it can still drop the Tomato Mask; something only otherwise dropped exclusively by the tomato enemies
-The mech is based on the idea of genetically engineered tomatoes, though in its case it is specifically a mechanically-engineered tomato for the sake of wordplay
[Added: 7/9/20]
Boss - Tomantha

Appearance: A powerful mage in a red and gold dress. She has a small golden circlet on her head.

Stats:
Health: ? / ? / 55,450 (80,000) / 800,000 (1,345,000)
Attack:
-? / ? / 88 (165) / 360 (542) (Melee)
-? / ? / 100 (175) / 400 (600) (Magic Blasts, Homing Blasts)
-? / ? / 115 (188) / 400 (600) (Explosions, Terrafall) (Inflicts Terraflow - 20 (33)%)
Defence: ? / ? / 60 / 200

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Tomantha will move around via either flying or teleporting, or sometimes a mix of the two based on the player's movements. She will attack every few seconds, using some sort of magic attack.
-She may create a 'snake' of magic blasts that chases the player. The blasts accelerate if moving in a straight line, forcing the player to turn to avoid it better. After a few seconds it will stop and all the blasts will be launched in random directions
-She may launch 2-4 arcs of magic blasts at the player. The number of blasts per arc alternates between 5 and 6, always starting on 6 for the first arc
-She may summon several pink energy spheres randomly near the player. After around 2 seconds they will all explode violently, dealing damage if the player is nearby. The spheres themselves do not deal damage.
-She may summon 6 magic blasts around the player at a distance. All the blasts will be evenly-spaced, but at a random angle offset. After around a second all of them will converge inward to a single point, usually where the player was when they were summoned. This attack can happen up to 4 times in a row
-She may hover horizontally to the player, firing magic blasts at them rapidly. The blasts do not move at first, but will begin accelerating horizontally after a short time
-She may summon 5 or 7 green 'homing blasts' that are originally launched in an arc, but will gain a homing ability after only around a second. 2 seconds later they lose their homing ability
-She may summon several green, vaguely sword-shaped projectiles from the sky. They are evenly spaced-out, and instead of falling at the same time will instead start falling from one end and working to the other; with each subsequent one beginning to fall when the last one is roughly 2 blocks down from its starting position.
BM: Tomantha generally attacks faster and, when given the opportunity, will use more projectiles in her attacks. She is more likely to teleport than before, and can attack directly after teleporting. Her 'horizontal blast' attack's projectiles will now accelerate immediately. The Terrafall attack gets stronger as her health gets lower; summoning more swords with less space between them as she loses health.
Additionally, all of her attacks now have a 20% chance to inflict Terraflow, her Explosion and Terrafall attacks have a 50% chance, and contact damage is a 100% chance.

Defeat: Lets out a shout, releases a massive amount of red particles, and then teleports away.
Like with the Wyvern Riders, defeating her will cause the Stylist to gain another hairstyle

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as the chance to drop her circlet or dress as vanity. She can also drop the ToMageTo items. She can drop a magic staff and a tome Post-Moon Lord also. Finally, Post-Behemoth she can drop a magic tome, as well as the Enchanted Jewel that provides a large variety of buffs to melee and mage.

Lore: A powerful mage who has trained herself constantly alongside the tomato army. Friendly rival to Goliath, she hones her skills tirelessly to try and impress another, far stronger mage.

Hints:
-Dashes are always quite helpful for dodging her attacks, and makes dealing with her magic blast snake attack easier due to the ability to quickly turn
-A lot of her attacks are easier to deal with by first seeing what they are, and then moving based on the attack, as opposed to trying to predict the attack.

Extra Info:
-Tomathena herself has technically had 3 iterations before now; as she appeared as a boss in the original tomato army event, a hardmode-tier boss in the tomato arena, and accidentally as a cameo in the Discordians fight due to being mislabelled.
--She was also formerly the only tomato to have been both present in the original tomato army and tomato arena events before now

Boss - Tomonster

Appearance: A large, somewhat-rounded tomato with 4 bulky limbs. It has a toothy, jagged grin on its face. A Small Tomato can be seen riding it, holding onto its hair tuft

[The player is inflicted with the 'Panicked!' debuff throughout the fight, reducing flight time and speed]

Stats:
Health:

-? / ? / 10,000 (10,000) / 100,000 (85,000) (Rider)
Attack:

-? / ? / 100 (175) / 380 (557) (Rocks, Shockwave)
-? / ? / 88 (165) / 360 (542) (Roar, Slashes)
Defence: ? / ? / 40 / 85

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: The Tomonster will run after the player constantly, but takes a while to turn around. It mainly uses melee attacks, or ones involving its claws or mouth.
-It may leap through the air towards the player. When it lands on the ground it will slam its arms downward, possibly catching players too close to its front.
-It may jump through the air with its arms and legs tucked in, spinning around as it does so. The attack is fast and can reach extreme heights. The Tomonster is briefly dizzy once it lands, leaving it immobile for around 2 seconds
-It may perform a triple-jump towards the player. The first jump is the smallest, the second noticeably higher, and the third is based on the player's height, but can reach extreme heights also. The Tomonster will rest briefly afterwards.
-The Tomonster may dig its claws into the ground, pulling them out quickly to throw large rocks into the air towards the player. The rocks are affected by gravity, but can roll a little after being throw, like the old Staff of Earth boulders. This attack still works on platforms, however.
-The Tomonster may roar in the player's direction, sending a fast-moving soundwave at them that can bounce off of walls
-The Tomonster may slam its arms into the ground, creating a tall shockwave that travels across the ground in both directions. As it fades the peak of the shockwave shrinks gradually.
-The Tomonster may swipe its claws at the player, summoning several spinning crescent-shaped projectiles. These start motionless but will begin accelerating in the player's general direction after a very brief moment.
If the Tomonster is blocked by walls it will 'dig' through them, allowing it to bypass blocks and even use them to climb.
Additionally, the Tomonster will have a rider on its back. The Rider does not attack the player, but if defeated it will make the Tomonster 'unstable', increasing its attack speed noticeably and also mildly buffing its movement speed and jump height.
BM: The Tomonster is generally faster and can jump higher. It can dig through solid blocks faster if it needs to.
The Tomonster will only need to rest for 1.5 seconds after the 'spinning leap' attack, and only for 1 second after the triple-jump. He throws more rocks and claw scythes at the player during those two attacks.
The Tomonster will enter its 'unstable' state at half health, regardless of the Rider's condition.

Defeat: Staggers back briefly before falling over, then poofs into a colossal cloud of red particles. If the Rider is still active it will not teleport with the Tomonster, and instead just falls to the ground where it then poofs into red particles also.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as a claw-like weapon that swings rapidly like the Fetid Baghakhs, a tome that launches clusters of the Tomonster's claw projectiles, a gun that creates soundwave-like projectiles, and a summoner staff that summons a mini Tomonster. Post-Behemoth it drops the Tomonster Saddle rarely, which summons a Tomonster mount that has high ground speed and acceleration, and a high jump height.

Lore: A huge, monstrous tomato said to be tougher than leather. All I can therefore suggest is you make like a cow and hide.

Hints:
-Try to keep above the Tomonster on a different platform, or have an arena of platforms at the ready, as it is incredibly hard to outrun its ground speed once it gets moving
-Infinite flight mounts make the fight easier, but remember that it can still jump up to you quite easily and that it has projectiles

Extra Info:
-The puns in the lore suggest that the Tomonster may be based off of the Beefeater Tomato, due to the references to cows.
--Additionally, its digging ability and the lore's mention of 'tougher than leather' are a reference to Knuckles from the Sonic the Hedgehog series (who else, though, to be fair)

Boss - Goliath

Appearance: A large, bearded tomato. He wears a red sleeveless shirt a baggy grey trousers, supported by a rope tied around his waist

[The player is inflicted with Heavy Gravity throughout this fight, reducing flight time and speed]
Goliath will usually begin the fight with dialogue along the lines of 'I'm impressed to see you've gotten this far, now I want to see your strength for myself!'

Stats:

ML: Goliath is quite fast at running and can jump high, even if not linked to any specific attack. He can also 'teleport', allegedly just by moving very fast, but it acts like a teleport regardless. He will usually resort to ranged attacks when far from the player and melee when close, but this isn't always the case.
-He may perform a swift leap at the player, finishing the leap by punching the ground as he lands. The leap can amass an immense amount of height and speed, based on how far away the player is
-He may disappear, only to re-appear above the player with his fist drawn back. After a brief moment he will punch downward, descending a great speed, only stopping once he hits the ground or falls for too long.
-He may pick up stones, energise them, and throw them at the player. The stones are quite large and are only just barely affected by gravity, though this is hard to notice often. He will throw several at the player in rapid succession
-He may throw a series of punches in the player's direction. These punches create balls of energy, vaguely in the shape of a fist, that have a weak homing effect. He will throw several of these in a row usually.
-He may appear above the player, create a large ball of energy, and throw it downward. Once it hits a block it will stay motionless for a brief moment and then explode into several smaller versions of itself that are dispersed outward randomly. Goliath will only wait in-place after throwing the ball for a few seconds before continuing his assault
-Goliath may call forth 2-4 Tomaladins, usually with a loud shout.
-Goliath may dash towards the player, trying to grab them. It he grabs them he won't deal contact damage, but instead throw them downward with a lot of force. The player cannot do anything until they hit the ground, where they will then take damage.
BM: The regular fight will remain mostly the same, but Goliath's attack speed is slightly increased.
However, during his 'Rematch' on Wave 38, he will enter a 2nd phase at half health. This is also signalled by him saying 'Enough playing around now. I see what you're capable of, so I shall kick it up a notch!'
Phase 2:
Goliath will heal back 20% of his lost health and will gain a golden aura for most of the fight that grants him damage resistance.
Goliath's attack speed is increased significantly, he will take less time to launch attacks, and summons more projectiles with most of the attacks including making the Terrabomb explode into more pieces. The Terrabomb is also summoned faster and moves a lot faster than before.
The drawback is, however, that after every 5th attack Goliath will kneel down and punch the ground and his aura will fade. During this state he loses his additional damage resistance and cannot move. After around 5 seconds he will get back up, regain his aura and damage resistance, and continue attacking.

Defeat: Punches the ground as he falls onto one knee. Poofs into a large cloud of red particles, though will also leave a few golden ones behind that linger for a while.
Defeating him will also unlock 3 hairstyles from the Stylist; his hair, beard, and a combo of both.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, as well as a gauntlet that can launch fist-shaped energy projectiles that counts as melee damage. Can also drop a cannon-like gun that launches projectiles based off of his energised stones, or an accessory that provides melee buffs alongside some defence. Post-Behemoth he drops an item called 'Sheer Willpower'; an accessory that when equipped will cause the player's stats to increase as their health decreases at the cost of reduced life regen.

Lore: A great and widely-renowned warrior who has trained for many years to get as strong as he has. It is said that he will only show his true strength to those he deems worthy.

Hints:
-High mobility is strongly recommended against Goliath, as his attacks are fast and aggressive and are capable of dealing a lot of damage very quickly
-His grab attack will leave the player unable to do anything for a while, though health and mana regen will still occur. Being thrown when far from the ground, while it does make the fight take a little longer, also allows the player to regen a bit of mana back (and technically heal, but you lose a lot of that on impact with the floor regardless)

Extra Info:
-As his name would suggest, he is based off of the Bush Goliath Tomato. This is more apparent in his old design, where 'Bush Goliath' was actually his name
-Goliath has had the most drastic change in design of all the 4 bosses to be brought over from the tomato arena, looking almost completely different aside from retaining his large frame and a beard.

Boss - Atominationn

Appearance: A mish-mash of other event enemies. He has Captomato's hat, Cherry's shirt fused with parts of Tomantha's, Tomato Mech's left arm and the Tomonster's right, King Tomato's left leg and Candy Cleric's right, and the Wyvern Rider's Wyvern's wings. Additionally, he carries a Seedler similar to Big Boy's.

Stats:
Health: ? / ? / ? / 947,000 (1,494,000)
Attack:
-? / ? / ? / 400 (600) (Melee, Seed Bomb)
-? / ? / ? / 360 (542) (Small Seeds, Vines)
-? / ? / ? / 420 (635) (Deathray)
Defence: ? / ? / ? / 220

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Not Present
BM: The Atominationn flies to try and keep horizontal to the player when not attacking. During some attacks, he may stay still while using them, before returning to flying horizontally to the player
-He may summon numerous large seeds randomly around himself. After roughly a second these will burst and launch vines out of them in 6 directions. These vines are about as long as Wyverns, and keep travelling outwards from the seeds they originated from. This can happen up to 3 times in a row
-He may ready his cannon and begin firing giant, deathray-like lasers horizontally towards the player. He will stop moving briefly before firing each laser, and cannot move while firing them, forcing the player to move vertically to dodge them
-He may swing his Seedler, launching a massive cluster of seeds towards the player. These explode somewhat randomly, but have the same criteria as Big Boy's to explode where they have to be close enough to the player or detect they're moving away from the player. When these seeds explode they will release 4 seeds each either in a + or x shape.
At half health, he will say 'Now I'll show you my true power!' He will heal back all of his lost health and begin his 2nd phase.
Phase 2:
The Atominationn is a little faster, and retains all of his previous attacks. He gains new attacks in this phase he uses alongside his old ones
-He may throw out a small disc that quickly explodes into a + shape of deathrays. He may use this attack up to 3 times in a row, throwing the disc into various locations.
-He may summon random portals in the sky. Explosive seeds similar to the one from his Seedler swing attack will rain down from them for a few seconds until they despawn
As his health gets lower, he will slowly increase his attack speed, and some of his attacks will gain additional projectiles.

Defeat: Knocked back with force, flinging the Seedler and his cap away from him. Flies up and away off-screen afterward.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, but will also drop Atominable Scales; used to craft a set of ranger armour, and also used to upgrade some of the ranger-themed drops granted by other event enemies. Additionally, in Expert Mode, it will drop the Atominable Curse; an accessory that increases critical hit chance and damage, and allows the player to sometimes endure an attack that would have killed them at 1 HP (also removes DoT debuffs if this happens, as to not make the effect useless).

Lore: One of the 4 elites who rarely come to aid the tomato army. More of a loner than the others, he keeps his distance from the others due to not feeling like he fits in.

Hints:
-Keep an eye on what the Atominationn is doing at any time. A lot of his attacks will be insanely hard to dodge if you're not sure what attack is coming. This is especially true with the 2 deathray attacks, as the rays themselves have full range as soon as they are shot
-Dashing helps in this fight with getting away with some of his projectile clusters. It is also helpful at prematurely detonating his Seedler and portal seeds due to their nature
--Additionally, flying above the portals limits their effectiveness to only the smaller seed shards from the exploding seeds

Extra Info:
-As is likely obvious, the boss is a reference to the Abominationn NPC/Boss from Fargo's mod. His body is made of several different pieces of the event's various mini bosses and bosses, in the same way that the Abominationn is made of event bosses itself.
--Additionally, its main 2 drops are references to the Abominationn boss's drops also; being a late-game 'scale' material and an accessory.
-His lore entry is intended to be somewhat ironic, as he is literally made of parts taken almost directly from the event enemies. However, it may still work, as his appearance is wildly different from the others due to his mish-mash of parts.
-Like some other enemies, the Atominationn is based off of a tomato also; specifically the Tomkin. This was also the reason the Abominationn's design was used over the Mutant's.

Boss - Catomato

Appearance: A long-haired tomato that seems to have cat ears. Her dress has a fuzzy collar and cuffs, and a small belt around the waist.

Stats:
Health: ? / ? / ? / 1,285,000 (2,125,000)
Attack:
-? / ? / ? / 375 (550) (Melee, Small Cats)

-? / ? / ? / 430 (640) (Tubby Tabbies)
Defence: ? / ? / ? / 200

[All attacks inflict Terraflow - 100%]

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Not Present
BM: Catomato flies and teleports around, somewhat like Tomantha did before. Most of its attacks are cat-themed, and it will often try to get close to the player before using most of them.
-She may summon several small, cat-shaped magic projectiles to fly horizontally; all appearing from the same side of the player
-She may summon numerous cat-shaped projectiles around herself before launching them at the player. These ones are fast and start with homing properties that gradually fade as they travel
-She may summon numerous large, cat-like projectiles in random places near both herself and the player. After a few seconds these will all explode into a 'x' shape of small cat projectiles
-She may summon 8 small cat projectiles around herself. These will disperse outward, rotating in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise motion as they do so. This attack can be used numerous times in rapid succession, with each successive use's cats rotating the other way
-She may release 10 small cat projectiles in 2 groups of 5; one group launched in an arc ranging from 0-90 degrees, and the other from 180-270 degrees around herself. She also has a variant using the other 2 sets of angles not used before. All of these projectiles accelerate rapidly
At half health she will say 'Ok, no more kitten around' before entering Phase 2
Phase 2:
She remains mostly the same, minus some attacks using more projectiles than before and having slightly faster projectiles. However, she does gain 1 new attack:
-She may disappear, summoning numerous bulky-looking cats in the sky called 'Tubby Tabbies'. These hang in the air for a second before all dropping down vertically, trying to squash the player. After they fall Catomato will re-appear
Under 20% health lone Tubby Tabby projectiles will appear in the air randomly and fall, regardless of what the Catomato is doing. Under 10% this will increase to 2 and, under 5%, finally to 3

Defeat: Poofs into a large, vaguely cat-shaped cloud of particles

Drops: Regular tomato drops, but will also drop Enchanted Yarn; used to craft a set of summoner armour, and also used to upgrade some of the summoner-themed drops granted by other event enemies. In Expert Mode she will also drop the Catastrophic Contraption; which switches the player's life with their mana, and grants damage reduction bonuses based on the changes. May also rarely drop a set of cat ears.

Lore: One of the 4 elites who rarely come to aid the tomato army. The most sociable of the four, though she has a habit of taking naps before battles; only to miss the entire fight.

Hints:
-Horizontal movement is very important in this battle, as many of her attacks include vertical elements. Therefore, dashes are very useful here
-When her health is low keep an eye out for the large Tubby Tabby projectiles, as they will begin appearing independent of the Catomato's actions.

Extra Info:
-The Catomato is a reference to Hallam; a major developer of Mod of Redemption, a dev for Technological Terror, and certified cat
-The Catomato could be a reference to the ideas of 'hybrid tomatoes', as she is both partly a cat and a tomato. However, it could also just be the cliche of 'anime catgirl', but that's less interesting.

Boss - Mechamato

Appearance: A humanoid, red machine. It has a single eye and an underbite, as well as a small exhaust on its back. It rides a large, clunky red machine with bulky exhausts at the back.

Stats:
Health: ? / ? / ? / 1,420,000 (2,240,000)
Attack:
-? / ? / ? / 410 (618) (Melee, Bike Melee, Turret Melee)

Defence: ? / ? / ? / 400

[All attacks inflict Terraflow - 100%]

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Not Present
BM: The Mechamato will repeat a cycle of aligning itself with the player vertically and charging at them 3 times, and then using one of its ranged attacks.
-It may fire missiles that move rather slowly but home-in on the player. They chase the player until they explode; either by hitting the player or by being active for too long
-It may fly horizontally to either the left or right a little distance above the player, dropping missiles. The missiles are dropped evenly-spaced and simply fall down, exploding on contact with the player or blocks
-He may hover over the player with his hovercraft, dropping missiles roughly every half second.
-He may fly in a loop before charging at the player while cloaked in fire. This charge, unlike his regular ones, isn't restricted to horizontal-only and can aim anywhere. The fire increases the size of his hitbox, but not his damage
-He may throw a circular bomb labelled with an 'x' or '+' at the player. It will stop mid-air after a short time and, depending on the marking, will either release pillars of flame from itself in an x or + shape, respectively
Once down to half health, he will enter Phase 2; signalled by him dismounting his hovercraft.
Phase 2:
The Mechamato will charge at the player by himself 3 times before attacking. His charges only have moderate range, but can be in any direction and aren't hindered like in Phase 1.
His attacks remain mostly the same, except he cannot use the 2 bomb drop attacks, nor his fireball charge. He does, however, gain a single new attack in their place
-He can throw a large disc that stops in mid-air after a short distance. A small turret gun will emerge from its centre, and it will fire a laser at the player roughly every half second until it despawns, usually after the Mechamato has gotten to the 3rd charge in his next charging cycle.
Additionally, the hovercraft will also attack the player in this phase. Every time the Mechamato goes to use one of his main attacks the hovercraft will align itself with the player and charge at them once horizontally. The hovercraft cannot be damaged, however.

Defeat: Mechamato partially explodes and is launched away. His hovercraft falls out of the sky and explodes into gibs.

Regular tomato drops, but will also drop Biometal Fragments; used to craft a set of melee armour, and also used to upgrade some of the melee-themed drops granted by other event enemies. Additionally, in Expert Mode, it can drop its hovercraft as a mount with lots of horizontal speed, infinite flight, decent vertical speed, and even a dash.

Lore: One of the 4 elites who rarely come to aid the tomato army. Usually not called upon due to not being a team player, though his strength and speed aren't so easily passed-up when in trouble.

Hints:
-The fight requires the player to keep an eye on a lot of things at once, including the dropped and homing missiles, X-bombs, the Mechamato itself, and additional both the turrets and hovercraft in Phase 2. Luckily, as most of these take it in turns, it is generally usually only up to 3 things at any given time.
-X-bomb explosions are essential deathrays; with massive distance before they fizzle out and high damage. It is recommended the player sees where it stops and the type, and moves away from it to give themselves more room to dodge the boss itself

Extra Info:
-The primary reference the Mechamato likely is would be to the Technological Terror mod, mainly due to simply being a robot
-However, it also bears resemblance to Crazy Frog's Dancing Robots, with a large upper body, red and grey colour scheme, and visible underbite.

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Not Present
BM: The duo will attack independently of each other at the start of the fight, though will use attacks at the same time.
Tomamazon will either run after the player, or levitate using electricity. She doesn't have many attacks at first
-She may throw her spear at the player. As it travels it releases a collection of stationary energy orbs. After a second these will begin accelerating towards the player's position but cannot change direction
-She may point her spear skyward, causing 2 lightning bolts to fall; one either side of her
-She may point her spear skyward, causing lightning to strike it. Several energy orbs are spawned in a column where the lightning hit, which all accelerate towards the player's position also
The Tomatocorn also chases after the player, but can also gallop on lightning to gain height.
-He may charge at you horizontally, galloping across a platform of lightning he makes as he travels. The platform also drops small sparks downwards as he gallops
-He may stomp the ground, causing lightning to strike his horn. 6 more lightning bolts, 3 on either side, will fall; all evenly spaced-out over a wide area
-He may swing his head, summoning a massive arc of energy orbs that accelerate outwards after a short time
-He may summon a lightning orb, similar to LC's, to shoot vortex-like lightning at the player
-He may stomp the ground, causing lightning to strike his horn. This causes numerous sparks to go flying out of the lightning bolt at various speeds in various angles fairly randomly
While their attacks are basic enough at first, things change depending on the player's actions
-When their collective health goes below 50%, both of them will begin inflicting Terraflow when they attack alongside Electrified
-If the Tomamazon is defeated first, the Tomatocorn's attack speed will increase, and he will also begin using her 3rd attack for himself
-If the Tomatocorn is defeated first, the Tomamazon's attack speed will increase, and she will steal his horizontal charge, 7 lightning bolt, energy orb and lightning orb attacks.

Defeat: Tomamazon poofs into red particles, though before the Tomatocorn does it will kneel for a short while first

Drops: Regular tomato drops, but will also drop Enchanted Gold; used to craft a set of mage armour, and also used to upgrade some of the mage-themed drops granted by other event enemies. Additionally, in Expert Mode, it will drop the Heart of the Storm; an accessory that grants the player an electric-coated dash, reduces contact damage from enemies, and grants increases to damage, crit chance, and speed.

Lore: One of the 4 elites who rarely come to aid the tomato army. However, they are rarely seen and near impossible to get in contact with: they find you.

Hints:
-While their individual attacks aren't too threatening, their ability to synchronise their attacks whilst both are active is a threat
-Depending on the preferred changes, the player could opt to focus one of the duo in order to more quickly remove one from the fight, leaving only a single target to deal with
--Bear in mind, however, if you choose to remove the Tomatocorn first that the duo will receive their Terraflow buff before he is defeated, making the fight harder for a time

Extra Info:
-The Tomatocorn's design was inspired by a drawing Darkpuppey made a while back, which was itself based on the idea of remaking the tomato event
-Its design is also based on the Tomatocorn mount from the old Item Ideas page, though drastically improved

Boss - Tomathena

Appearance: A tomato with extremely long hair, wearing a green dress with a golden band around the waist. She has a small circlet on her head, similar to Tomantha's. She has 4 large, sparkling, butterfly-like wings.

Tomathena will not begin attacking immediately, and will instead say 'You must be weary from your previous endeavours, so I shall allow you to recover before we fight.' She will remain in-place and not attack the player until the player tries to damage her, where she will dodge the attack and the fight will suddenly begin.

Stats:

PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Not Present
BM: Phase 1:
Tomathena will usually try to stay above the player, though usually only moves when she isn't attacking. She can fly at high speeds or teleport if necessary, allowing her to pursue players easily. She has a wide range of attacks, mainly light-themed.
-She may summon several evenly-spaced-out pillars of light from the sky. Many of them fall over a very wide area. They start falling from one side and rapidly trigger from that side to the other over roughly 1-2 seconds.
-She may summon pillars of light at the player's position. She will keep doing this for a few seconds, each being summoned around a second apart
-She may release bursts of energy orbs around herself, all evenly-spaced but with varying rotations. These orbs accelerate as they travel
-She may summon several swords of light above herself for a few seconds. These will all spin around once before accelerating at the player's position. They also have a very mild homing effect
-She may perform a variant of her first attack, but summoning the light pillars horizontally instead of vertically. They usually begin appearing from the top and work their way to the bottom, but this isn't guaranteed.
-She may begin launching green fireballs towards the player. As opposed to being thrown at the player, they are launched based on the player's movements to try and hit them as they move
-She may charge up and begin firing a massive, golden deathray-like attack. It starts above her, and gradually sweeps 225 degrees before fading. The player cannot avoid this attack using blocks.
Once down to 50% health she will get angry and will gain a shiny aura around herself, and will enter Phase 2.
Phase 2:
Gains some extra damage resistance, as well as the ability to move a little during the light pillar attacks. Gains no new attacks, but all her old attacks are enhanced.
-All the light pillars fall at once in her first attack. Additionally, a second set of light pillars will appear shortly after the first in the midst of all the gaps the first one left
-During the 'chasing light pillar' attack the pillars are summoned very rapidly and are far more plentiful, forcing the player to keep moving
-More orbs are spawned during her 'burst' attack, and she creates more bursts of orbs faster
-More swords are summoned during the sword attack, and their homing capabilities are enhanced somewhat
-The horizontal light pillars no longer have dodging space between them, are launched faster, and are more plentiful; forcing the player to fly up or move down based on the direction they are initially summoned from
-During the green fire attack she summons more fireballs, and launches them at the player far more frequently.
-Finally, for her Golden Eviscerator attack, the initial beam she creates splits as she begins to move it; with her moving both beams in different directions. The first beam does its usual 225-degree sweep, whereas the other sweeps around 100 degrees before stopping; leaving little dodging room

Defeat: Her wings will crack and eventually shatter into several tiny pieces. Then Tomathena will disappear in a brilliant white light, similar to Moon Lord's summon/defeat light flash. She will leave behind only a few lingering golden particles after she disappears.

Drops: Regular tomato drops, but can also drop a full vanity set based on herself. Capable of dropping a set of wings based on her own, a sword, bow, magic tome, and a summoner staff. In Expert Mode she will also drop an accessory that allows the player to inflict Terraflow against enemies, summons a small, Tomathena-like summon to shoot magic bolts at enemies, and provides a wide assortment of other stat buffs. Additionally, it will refill the player's health to full when they respawn after dying, and allows Mediumcore players to keep hold of this accessory even after they die instead of dropping it.

Lore: Most powerful tomato mage and once rumoured long ago to be an earth deity, Tomathena now spends much of her time relaxing in a hidden palace on a remote island, only returning if people are in need of her help.

Hints:
-Lots of Tomathena's attacks involve deathray-type projectiles, so it is suggested to keep an eye on her actions
-Many of her projectiles are also vertically-travelling columns, where dashes can actually pose as a detriment if used accidentally. Be careful with your movements when she uses those attacks.
-Her attacks deal high damage and she is very aggressive, so it's usually best to try and save your Toma-tokens for this fight especially

Extra Info:
-Tomathena is technically the most powerful individual enemy in the entire event, though isn't the final boss.
-Waiting around before starting the fight will gradually prompt more dialogue, usually along the lines of 'Take your time', though if long enough passes she will eventually say 'I understand that preparation is important and all, but this time taken feels a little... excessive'
--She will also have dialogue if the player has died to her more than 3 times in a single event, instead saying 'You're got a very determined spirit, you know, I commend that.'
-Tomathena's fight bears resemblance to the Empress of Light, due to her 4 butterfly-like wings, light-themed attacks, and general positioning during the battle. However, some of these aspects were also pulled from her previous fight which was pre-1.4, so it wasn't all intentional references.

Boss - Tomato

Appearance: Tomato, Tomato Chan, and Mia
Tomato is in a hoodie, as usual, and has a look very similar to previous appearances (though closer to my profile picture, since he's the cameo boss)
Tomato Chan is similar to her secret appearance in Boss Ideas 7, though with her name corrected. Her design is currently the one used in a mini comic, with a pink hoodie but otherwise similar-ish attire to Tomato
Mia's design is the same as her other appearances, though at the correct size. Her dress is made of mint and chocolate ice cream with a strawberry collar, and socks/boots made from cookies'n'cream ice cream. Her hair, as expected, is also strawberry.

At this point, Tomato will usually appear, waiting around for a moment, and eventually say something along the lines of 'Oh, darn, wasn't expecting anyone to actually get to wave 40... uhh... congrats. Though, if you want to win, you still have to defeat us first, alright?'. Tomato Chan and Mia will then appear behind him, and the battle will begin.

Attacks:
PH: Not Present
HM: Not Present
ML: Not Present
BM: The trio will take it in turns to attack, but the downtime between attacks is rather short. All 3 have their own attacks they can use. All 3 are given flight, either by magic wings, barrier platforms, or just levitating, and all of them usually try to stay fairly close to the player
Tomato:
-Can swing a sword, called the Tomatomere, summoning a massive arc of tomato projectiles aimed towards the player. Can do this up to 3 times in succession. The projectiles are referred to as 'Tomagic'
-May swing a tomato-shaped flail towards the player. The flail head launches tomagic projectiles to its sides as it travels. Once fully extended the flail head will break away and flies at the player, summoning a final arc of 4 other tomagic projectiles at the player just as it breaks away
-He may call several small tomatoes, all riding missiles, that fly towards the player. The missiles explode like fireworks, with large explosion radii and fancy particle effects, while the small tomatoes jump off just before they explode.
-Tomato may summon several closed flowers aimed at the player. After a short time they will open and all launch deathray-like lasers in the direction they were facing
-Tomato's extra ability lets him call in up to 6 regular enemies from the event. He can call regular enemies and mini-bosses, but no full bosses.
Tomato Chan:
-May point a bow skyward, causing a flurry of arrows to begin raining from the sky. The arrows can fall at slight angles, but all the arrows' paths will be briefly highlighted in green before they fall
-She may aim a large, almost sniper rifle-like gun at the player. She will shoot it at the player up to 3 times, with each shot's projectile being a a rapidly-travelling stream of green light, almost like a laser
-She may pull out a staff and begin rapidly firing shots around, but not directly at, the player. After a short time they will all suddenly gain a homing ability for 2 seconds before losing it again, causing them to all suddenly begin being aimed at the player again
-She may rapidly begin summoning magic around herself in groups of 8. Each 8 will disperse outward from her, rotating clockwise, with each subsequent 8 doing the same. She'll keep summoning these for several seconds, usually, before she stops
-Tomato Chan's extra ability is that she can temporarily buff all active allies, usually just Tomato and Mia though, with extra defence and attack for 15 seconds.
Mia:
-Mia may throw a large ball of ice cream towards the player. After a while it will explode into a burst of anywhere from 20-50 smaller projectiles, all launched outward randomly.
-Mia may point in a direction. Small blobs of ice cream will begin flying in horizontally from behind her randomly, creating a horizontal 'bullet-hell' of sorts
-Mia may summon several large, yellow stars randomly near herself and the player. After a few seconds these explode into a shower of golden particles, with the explosion itself dealing damage
-Mia may charge at the player at high speed and attempt to hug them. This will immobilise the player, and while the hug itself does no damage the player is still inflicted with the Glaciating Frost debuff throughout it and a little while after the hug ends as well. It can also hinder the player's positioning somewhat due to the briefly lost movement
-Mia's extra ability allows her to heal herself and all her allies by a maximum of 200,000 (320,000) health. Usually this is just Tomato and Tomato Chan, but it can also count any of Tomato's summons also. Her ability, unlike the others, can be stopped by attacking her before she is finished.
Furthermore, when one of them is defeated, the other 2 will gain buffs. They will always gain attack speed, but other buffs are also applied:
If Tomato is defeated, Tomato Chan will gain extra attack and Mia will also gain attack
If Tomato Chan is defeated, Tomato will gain extra defence and Mia will as well
If Mia is defeated, Tomato will gain attack and Tomato Chan will gain defence
The fight ends when all 3 are defeated

Defeat: Tomato and Tomathena disappear into massive columns of red particles and light. Mia is similar, but instead uses pink particles.
The Stylist gains another 3 new hairstyles; based on all 3 bosses, and the Clothier now sells all 3 of their vanity outfits.
Boss - Tomato (Continued)
Drops: Will always drop the Tomato Mask. Will also always drop the Tomatomere, Tomatome, Vine Lash, and the Tomato King's Sceptre; powerful melee, magic, range and summoner weapons respectively. Additionally, he will provide 5 Toma-Tokens, some additional materials dropped previously by the 'Elite four' from Wave 37, and the Heart of Grass that reduces the player's defence, damage reduction and damage in exchange for majorly increased max health. In Expert Mode they will also drop the Trio Emblem that will summon chibi versions of all 3 of them to protect, buff and heal the player.

Lore:
Tomato: Technically the one who organised the event by listing it as training for the tomato army. Has secretly been raiding your items for cookies while you weren't looking.
Tomato Chan: Someone Tomato only calls 'an old friend', though her origins are unknown. Adept at using magic and ranged weapons, and capable of using said magic to empower her allies.
Mia: An ice cream elemental and supposedly Tomato's girlfriend. While not a tomato herself, she was invited to the event by Tomato; and had not anticipated actually fighting in it until now.

Hints:
-Each of the three brings a passive effect to the table separate from their regular attacks
--Tomato is capable of summoning event enemies. While this is random, a worse-case scenario could involve him summoning enemies that can buff or heal allies, or who require the player's attention frequently
--Tomato Chan can buff Mia and Tomato, as well as any summons Tomato may have summoned, making them harder to hit and making them hit harder, even if only for a short time
---This can also happen right after Tomato summons enemies, forcing the player to deal with buffed enemies and buffed bosses at the same time
--Mia can heal herself, Tomato, and Tomato Chan, as well as any of Tomato's summons; possibly negating some of the player's efforts if she isn't stopped
-Defeating them one at a time in order of difficulty might be recommended, but bear in mind that when one is defeated the others will receive buffs

Extra Info:
-It's me!
-While Tomato has made cameo appearances in Boss Ideas 5 and 7, his design is now finally closer to Tomato's proper design as seen in my profile picture (as of writing this, that is)
-Tomato Chan started out being made due to the joke about 'if it exists the internet will make it into an anime girl', and then a cameo in Boss Ideas 7 listed under the wrong name. Appeared here due to being one of few tomato characters not being used elsewhere despite existing, and to fill out the trio intended for the end of the event
-Mia, originally planned to appear in Boss Ideas 10 and in some mods but was scrapped, now finally gets to make an appearance as a boss here. Shipped with Tomato by the fans, and certified wholesome.

Secrets
Kunoichi

A special enemy that can appear in the Post-Moon Lord and Post-Behemoth tiers of the event.

To summon her you must play a wave that has Ninjamatoes. The player has to avoid attacking 10 of them, simply leaving the Ninjamatoes to despawn on their own after their attacks. After the 10th one, the next Ninjamato planned to appear will be replaced with her instead.

While she acts the same as them, her weapon is actually a Squeaky Hammer, and she will only ever deal 1 damage to the player.

Additionally, if the player defeats her, she will drop the entire 'Refined Ninja Gear' set, and the Master Ninja Gear as well. If not, she will simply leave and cannot re-appear on the same wave again, even if the criteria are met again (Though she can be summoned again without issue on the next wave). Can also drop her hammer; a broadsword that deals 1 damage.

Wrong Pilot

Sometimes, instead of a Tomengineer piloting the Tomato Mech, it will just be a regular Small Tomato.

There is a 5% chance for this to happen, but only if the player has defeated a Tomato Mech before at some point on the same world.

This is just a reference to the original event, and has no effect on gameplay.

Bunmato

'Bunmato' is a bunny-eared tomato that can replace the Catomato in the Post-Behemoth tier of the event.

To trigger this, all you have to do is place down a Bunny from your inventory as the Catomato is being summoned. Doing this will create a large bunny-shaped shower of particles around the Catmato, and it will be replaced.

The fight remains the same, aside from the cat-shaped projectiles now being bunny-shaped instead. The Catomato's 'cat ears' drop will also be replaced with bunny ears. Otherwise, everything else remains the same about the fight.

Summer Break

A variant of the event that makes visual changes to most of the event enemies. It does not affect the gameplay of the event and is purely aesthetic.

To trigger it, the player would need to have the Warmth buff active (from a Warmth Potion) and use the event's summoner at either ocean. The event will remain in 'Summer Mode' until the event ends (The player either winning or dying).

The changes vary between enemies, but most either get swimsuits or sunglasses:
-The Small Tomato, Slime Rider, Shieldmato, Tomatocopter pilot, Captomato, Tomaladin and Tomonster get sunglasses
-The Tomato Warrior, Tomarcher, ToMageTo, Tombardier, King Tomato, Candy Cleric, Wyvern Riders, Cherry, Goliath, Atominationn, Catomato, Bunmato, Tomamazon, Tomathena, Tomato and Tomato Chan are in swimsuits
-The Slime Rider's slime becomes a beach ball
-Jetomato, Ninjamato, Tomatocorn and Kunoichi don't change, nor do the Wyvern Rider's wyverns or Tomonster's rider
-Tomimic remains the same, but the tomatoes inside its mouth have sunglasses also
-Tomengineer has a golden wrench
-UTO gets stereoscopic glasses
-Tomato Mech becomes an ice cream truck (sorta)
-Soldiermato is now wearing the Whirly Warrior hat
-Big Boy's shield is now a surfboard
-Tomantha and Mia are both wearing summer dresses
-Mechamato is wearing sunglasses that only have 1 eye, due to being a cyclops
Final Notes
Well, this went from what I thought would be a short page to a massive one very quickly, but I hope you all still enjoyed it regardless

A few people were asking about the event recently, so I have tried my best to make it a more interesting experience in terms of an actual event plan, as well as better looking and more interesting sprites, secrets, and puns :P

Special thanks:
-People in the TT Discord for ideas for secrets and for what enemies should return
-Darkpuppey for the tomato creature he made (that later became the Tomatocorn)
-Those who requested seeing this event return (otherwise it might not have)
-And you guys for sticking with me despite a few Boss Ideas instalments having some... quality issues

Also general shout-outs to Ugh-Bot, Hallam, Darkpuppey, Fargo & the gang, and Ferret (Because you guys are cool and whatnot :P)

Anyways, if you have any ideas for another Boss Ideas page they can be put in the Discord or in the comments here (both are fine), and I'll try to get around to responding to everyone again

Anyways, thanks for reading :)
