Thrustmaster T-GT temporary ( hopefully) experimental Force Feedback
By Lokanine
Bad results of the stock force feedback on Thrustmaster T-GT made me go through drastic experimentation.
I'm interested in feedback from Thrustmaster users in general.

The stock force feedback on the Thrustmaster T-GT just feels off and sluguish.
Just wanted to share my current and radical changes to both Thrustmaster control panel and in-game settings.

Control Panel:

Rotation: 900º

Overall: 100%

Costant: 30~40%
Periodic: 100%
Spring: 0%
Damper: 0%

Auto-center: by game

As for in-game settings i'm still baffled by the effect of Tone.

Anyway...

Strength: 100%
Tone: 100% (experimented with 0%, 50% and 100%. For now I'm using 100%)
Vibration:100% ( to taste, i like the gear transitions and some details of the road)
Menu spring: 40% ( default)

This way I get some sense of grip ( not as much as I would like) and would like feedback from Thrustmaster users, independent of the model.

Good racing!

@ Kain, from the Thrustmaster support site,

A constant force will keep the same level in time. When a game decides to apply a force of x% of what the wheel can do, the "Constant" will keep that force at the same level.

Example: A driving simulator game will usually use the constant force to simulate the G-Force. It will create a constant force at 0% but, depending on the speed and the wheel angle, the force will be increased accordingly.

My settings in CP for my T300RS
Rotation 1080º
Overall Strength 75% <--stops FFB clipping
Constant 100%
Periodic 100%
Spring 0%
Damper 100% <--I like my wheel to feel heavy as well as smooth & easy
Auto-Center - by the game

I use these settings for AC, PC2, ACC & I like how my wheel feels/responds when I drive (which I think is a big thing).

As for PC3, only picked it up yesterday, so I'm also looking for in game FFB tweaks.

What does the constant slider do?

My settings are similar:

Rotation: 900º

Overall: 100%

Costant: 25%
Periodic: 100%
Spring: 0%
Damper: 0%

I've only had my Thrustmaster T300 RS for about a month now... but compared to other games, the FFB seems a lot weaker in PC3. Also feels weaker than my G29 that I previously used.
