Great Northern EMD E7 Empire Builder

The Great Northern Railway was an American Class I railroad. Running from Saint Paul, Minnesota, to Seattle, Washington. The Great Northern's route was the northernmost transcontinental railroad route in the U.S. In 1970 the Great Northern Railway merged with three other railroads to form the Burlington Northern Railroad, which merged in 1996 with the Atchinson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway to form the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway.

This train is their most famous named passenger train the Empire builder. Which ran From Chicago to Seattle. This trains is pulled by two EMD E7As and has a completely accurate consist with car numbers and names from actual equipment used on the train.


Comes with automatic engine reverse feature: spawns the engine in front of the direction the train goes. comes with custom sound effects for movement and horn.
imported with a prototype mod to reduce the texture compression in game so the file size is large

This train is looooooooong so some considerations will be need to be made when using it.

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to its length some additional consideration might be needed when setting up passenger stations for it. Consult the "How to use very long passenger trains, building station complex" by REV0
