Introduction
Welcome one and all!

I like tactics games and I love hunting for achievements.

Im also a big fan of the two original Ghostbusters movies so when I saw this title on sale, I quickly bought it, played it for two days and got all achievements, it was a quick one and enjoyable.

It did get a little bit tedious towards the end and the RNG to get the team achievements is merciless.
Due to some tragic circumstances, the game couldn't reach its full potential, still, its a very solid title for the tactic/simulation fan.

Anyway, two quick notes:
  • If you don't want to play the game twice, start a game with Ironman mode on, the game isn't hard.
  • There are no difficulty achievements, so you can play on Easy.

There are more tips in the next section, but the ones above are the most important for us achievement hunters.

With that said, I hope you enjoy this casual ghost hunting game and have as much fun as I did.

So, here we go!~
Tips
The Game likes to unpause itself whenever you click something, so be aware.

You need to put the vacuum weapons on your hands, not on your body (back), the game allows you to put them there but it wont count as having a weapon.

Put clothes on your body instead, they dont count if they are in the inventory at the side of the character screen.

You can sell things by dragging them from your vehicle's storage into the store side.

Every time you upgrade your HQ or your car, the game jumps in difficulty, make sure you have enough money left over when you buy a new HQ/Car to get the new gear.

Stores sell different things each time you upgrade HQ/Cars and some items like glasses might be gone forever. Buy the best glasses/goggles you can and keep them around, also at least one pokeball, they be awesome.

Capturing Ghosts
To capture a ghost, you need to shoot it while a trap is ready to catch it.
So, you can put a trap under a ghost THEN shoot it
or
Place a trap near a ghost, shoot the ghost and if your weapon has a pull/push thing and if you are positioned just right, it will pull/push the ghost into the trap and catch it.
or
End your turn and if the ghost walks/is on top of a trap, it might trigger or fail.

Each trap has an energy threshold, the ghost energy should be low enough for your trap to catch it.
Even then, each trap has a success rate, so it might fail anyway.

Thats with "wide/broad" beams let you capture a ghost adjacent to them, not necessarily on top.

Stats
Sanity = Its the game's HP, if this goes to zero, the hunter will quit the company.
Strength = Carry Weight
Constitution = Movement per AP
Intelligence = Some equipment has INT requirements
Aim = How likely it is for you to successfully harm a ghost with your weapon
Morale = This determines how much sanity damage a hunter can take before he starts to flee.

For collector achievements, you will need someone to have 75 Int.
As you level up, the hunters you can hire will start with your highest level, so around level 5 or 6, you can hire powerful hunters with 70+ in their stats (including Scientists with 70+Int)

You can build a training room that lets you upgrade your stats 5 points per session, its costly and it takes days but it might be worth it. You cannot train Sanity or Morale.

Classes
Classes determine your stat progression as you level up, according to this chart:
Storyline Achievements
You should pause time right after the game starts, while you find your way around the things.
Space bar pauses/unpauses

If you dont want to play the game twice, start a game with Ironman mode on.
There are no difficulty achievements, so you can play on Easy.

If you dont see the car dealership, you need to complete some other objectives first.

This is the list of all objectives in the game:

The first achievement will be completing the first tutorial stage, to activate it, go outside (click on garage door), then, you need to click on the ghost on the map to go to the haunting.
Equip yourself, enter the stage, follow directions and at the end you will get:

Ghost Schooling
You completed the Tutorial! Well done!

In one of your jobs, you will play in an area with a cat, make sure the cat survives and you will get.

You rented the third headquarter!

*If you dont see the 3rd HQ, you might need to buy a new car first.

Sweep him away!
You wiped the cleaner away!

I ironed the monk!
You beat the mopping monk in ironman!

*The First boss, strangely, the Sweep him away achievo unlocked for me only after I bought the 3rd HQ but I got the Ironman one right after I defeated it.

Windfall
You are stinkin' rich!

*Gotten when you own 100k Pounds, as in, you must see the money on the pounds counter in your screen, not just have earned 100k pounds overall. The last Boss, Tea Rex gives you 60k Pounds.

Airwolf
The sky is the limit!

*Best vehicle in the game, you need to be in the 3rd HQ and have bought all other cars to get this one.

London
Milk and sugar?

I ironed the Tea-Rex!
You beat the Tea-Rex in ironman!

*The second and last boss, appears when you have completed all other objectives.
He hits hard but moves slow, I had a lot of difficulty trapping him since his "trap spot" is tricky to find.

Pretty self-explanatory

Trophy Hunter
You've collected five achievements!

Trophy Gatherer
You've collected fifteen achievements!

Trophy Enthusiast
You've collected thirty achievements!

Trophy-Bighead
You've collected fourty achievements!

Ghost Scanning/Trapping
You get these by adding a new ghost to the spookypedia using sensors then capturing them.
If you cant add a new ghost to the spoopypedia, you need to use a better sensor.

The earliest sensor you can do all of these with is when you buy the last car, its called the Privacy Breaker. You need 75 Int to use it.

Ghostcollector
1..2...3.. got them!

Archivist
Wow, didn't know they could do THAT!

Para-Researcher
The "Book of Ghosts" is near to it's completion!

Gotta catch em all
Scan 15 monsters then capture them.

*For privacy breaker to work, you need to be less than 6 squares off your target.
Once you scan a swarmling and capture a swarm, the achievement will unlock.

No Shooting Capture
For these achievements, you need to capture a certain "tier" ghost without shooting it.
To get these kinds of achievement, you must trap a ghost without shooting at it with any kind of weapon.

Traps that do damage are fine, as long as you don't use a Weapon type object on it.

Each trap has an maximum ghost energy that limits the ghost HP that it needs to have in order for the trap to activate.

As you progress through the game, the traps max energy will increase.

Some traps have a Pain trait that will damage ghosts if the trap is unsuccessful in trapping them, this will be useful to catch them.

You can use the research lab in your HQ to improve traps Pain Trait and Energy Max Levels.

For a trap to activate without shooting the ghost, the ghost must end its turn on the trap, near the trap (if trap has Wide beam trait) or walk into a trap and as long as the ghost current Energy is the same or below the trap's max energy, it will fire. Each trap has a success rate so it might fail even if the other requirements are met.

As for Ghost Tiers, every time you move to a new HQ, the ghost "tier" goes up.

The achievements do not stack, so you need to do them separately.

Pacifist
You go the peaceful way.

*Easy if you capture a poltergeist which have around 2 or 3 energy.

Flower Child
Wanna try use a beam?

This one is trickier since Tier 2 enemies have more health, I did this against a slimeball.
Slimeballs are docile and they will always try to turn off the lights on their turn if they cant slime you.
Get a trap with pain 3 or more and put it where the ghost will try and turn the lights off.
Go to another door, on the other side of the room and turn on the lights from there.

Follower of Gandhi
Try shooting!

Near the end of the game, Rendermen will start appearing, these ghosts have superlow energy and you can capture them with any endgame trap.

Hiring Achievements
Job Adviser

You've hired five different hunters.

Job-Center
You've hired fifteen different hunters.

Headhunter
You've hired thirty different hunters.

Firing Achievements

Slacker
We don't need no slacker!

The suited man
You fired ten ghosthunters.
Team Achievements
These unlock when you recruit some hunters that are a part of a specific team.

The credits page gives you hints as who those hunters are.
I also got the names from the steam forums.

The best time to go for these achievements is after defeating the Tea-Rex.
After you finish the last objective, you will have more than 150k pounds, make a save here and just open the hiring table and fast forward day after day until you get the ones you need.
If you run out of money, reload and try again.

As for the achievement conditions for it to pop, I think its two hunters but one of them has to be a specific one, in my experience with Team ASH, I had four of them and it wasn't until I recruited Massle Hassle until the achievement popped.
But maybe I had to have at least five? I'm not sure how it works but hopefully, the way I unlocked them can help you figure them out in your run.

I marked the ones I hired first with a * and the ones with a + were the one that made the achievement pop.

What this means is that you can get any of the other hunters and if it isnt unlocking, you might need the one marked with a +.

Other Achievements

Explorer
Marco... Polo!

Superhero
A hunter reached level 5.

Do the Egon!
Better safe than sorry.

*Use a sensor to locate a ghost.

Dancer in the dark
Don't be afraid of the darkness!

*It's either, finish a stage at night without turning any lights or capture a ghost at night in a dark room.'

More dots!
We don't need no healer!

4 or 5 missions without healing at the hospital.

Globetrotter
You've seen all leveltypes.

The type of stages are:
*Graveyard
*Tube Station
*Park
*Residential
*Restaurant
*Petrol Station (Shown as Park)
*Office

What the hell?
5 ghosts or more in a level - and you beat them!

They lowered the requirement to four, so it should be easy enough, parks/graveyards are areas with the higher ghost count.

Swiftly
We ain't have time!

*You need to finish a mission before the end of round 2.
Its a matter of luck, getting a mission with one or two easy ghosts you can trap before you need to click the End Turn button twice.

Dude, nuke 'em!
You blasted an item

*Not sure what counts as an item, I got this when a ghost destroyed some furniture, this might trigger if you purposely destroy a furniture yourself.

Brotherly Love
Together we are strong, by yourself you are weak.

Buy 3 Weapons with the Combo property and shoot the same ghost.
https://youtu.be/jGphs1p8E8I

Female quota
Men are pigs!

*I did it by starting a mission with all-female hunting team, but it might be just to start a mission with one.

Slippery when wet
You shot the toilet - twice!

Finally did it by shooting at a tube station toilet, twice, but this might unlock by breaking two separate toilets, it doesnt have to be a missed shot, aim at it.

Have a good ride!
You trained a ghost.

*Push a ghost into the train tracks in a tube station level.
https://youtu.be/p0XB_6JEogE

Get rendered!
Encountered Renderman!

*Pretty much random, you need to buy the 3rd HQ before he has a chance to appear.

Murphy strikes!
Now you are done!

*You need to be afflicted with at least 2 debuffs on 1 hunter at the same time.
(Cursed, Slimed, Weakened)
When going to the hospital, dont choose Heal All, avoid healing debuffs.

The most common debuff is Cursed, a lot of enemies can curse you.

In theory, you can go to a tube station while cursed and walk on the tracks to get Stunned and the achievement should unlock. If that doesnt work, wait until you find a slimeball and just stand near it until you get Slimed.
