Buffing Magical Girls
If we're being honest, despite the fun gameplay of the game, there are parts that may confuse some players or parts that are found too difficult to progress. This serves as a general guide on how to buff the magical girls' attack to make the main story managable. This also serves as a guide as to how to progress in the main story itself.

I'm bad at names so each magical girl will be reffered to after their familiar, or the way they attack.

At the start of the game, Phone Magical Girl, Science Magical Girl and Sword Magical Girl each have 1 attack each. Phone and Sword's RNG isn't too good in the beginning, either.

There are ways to change that. Or more specifically, the RNG of Phone Magical Girl and Sword Magical Girl, and the attack power of Science Magical Girl.

Phone Magical Girl's RNG is affected by the relationships she has with the side characters. Walk up to a non magical girl and start a conversation with them. This raises friendship.

Friendship costs time and money, both of which can be obtained by arguing with the familiars. Asking for more pay and asking for more free time gives what's needed to raise friendship. Some friendships are easier to obtain than others. These friendships are also relevant later on in the story, but we'll get to that later.

By increasing friendships, you increase the chance ghosts show up around Phone Magical Girl. You also can increase the attack power said ghosts have. The increase chance doesn't sound like much, but believe me when I say that if you max out some friendships, ghosts become increasingly common.

As a note, one friendship is obtained by asking to hire temps. This is also where the kickstarter backers are.

The other two magical girls can be buffed by asking for summer vacation and for the upgrade after that. Not sure what it is, sorry.

Summer vacation unlocks the beach, while the upgrade after unlocks the arcade.

The beach involves a side quest where you have to beat four different non RNG made levels. By finishing this quest, you up the magic attack of Magical Girl Science. Fully upgraded Magical Girl Science gives her 2 basic attack. Her combos become deadlier as well, as any enemy that is chained after gets +1 damage. So let's say you start by attacking the head of a 3 person congo line. Butfed Magical girl Science hits the first person for 2 damage, the next for 3 and so on.

The arcade allows you to rig the RNG of Blade Magical Girl's Again attack. By beating the arcade game over and over, you increase the chance her Again attack will occur. The buff will lessen after every battle, so you have to come back and beat the game again to refresh it if you want.

I don't know what having free dental care does. Let me know if you find out.
Main Story
The main story is actually in the tower. There's several floors that you have to beat, making your way into the top. I won't spoil you directly on the plot, but for every five floors or so, you will see a different gimmick in the levels. One of the gimmicks is only fully explained to you after you lose, so to make sure you're aware, during the drone levels, you have to meet a quota. The quota refers to the number of enemies defeated. A negative number means you defeated more than quota, so you don't have to beat an enemy just yet.

Upon reaching the higher higher floors, friendships start becoming important. I haven't tested what happens if you don't raise your friendships, so I'm not sure what happens if you don't.

Here is what occurs, and what I assume you need to pass the floor:

After finishing the Movie Floors, you'll recieve a key. The next 3 and final floors don't require any actual battling on the Magical Girls' part.

One of them will summon random people to judge you, but in actuality, they will be the people you can make friends with. I'm not sure if you'll always pass no matter what, but it doesn't hurt to raise your friendship levels with everyone.

The next floor doesn't have any fighting, nor need any friendships. Just go through the dialogue.

The final floor is where your max friendships really matter. I don't know who shows up if you don't have any friendships maxed, though.

Without going too much into detail, your friends will serve as party members. This is how they attack.
Mom: Basic attack. Does 3? damage per hit if Dad is there.
Dad: Basic attack. Does 3? damage if Mom is there.
Donut Hoodie: Basic attack. Does 3? damage if the other store clerk is there.
Store Clerk: Basic attack. Does 3? damage if the donut hoodie person is there.
New Girl: Attacks like Magical Girl Science, without the buff.
Cabbage Magical Boy: Attacks like Magical Girl Sword. You probably can't mess with his RNG.

I didn't manage to max out gacha girl and delivery girl.

Attack the familiars to win. Don't take too long. You will have to attack every familiar in 10 turns. Even if the level changes, the amoujt of turns is still the same.

Friendships
Most friendships are straightforward, but some of them require a little running around.

Every friendship will always require time and money at some point, which you have to get from arguing with the familiars. Some friends can't be made until certain things are done.

The straightforward ones are as follows:
Your Mom, Your Dad.

The gacha girl is somewhat straightforward in the sense you'll most likely have to get every gacha item to befriend her. I didn't test it though.

The somewhat confusing ones are:
New Girl, Donut Hoodie, Store Clerk, Cabbage Magical Boy and Delivery Girl.

New Girl is unlocked by unlocking both the beach and arcade. Talk to her in the beach then the arcade. She'll eventually move to the city. Finish talking to her there.

Both Donut Hoodie and Store Clerk's friendships will be max if you manage to finish their side quests.

For clarity:
1. Talk to Store Clerk until you aren't given the option to raise their friendship anymore.
2. Talk to Donut Hoodie until they prompt you to talk to Store Clerk.
3. Talk to Store Clerk.

Those should more or less be the exact steps.

Cabbage Magical Boy can only be unlocked after you ask to hire temps.

Delivery girl [spoilers]gets out of town at some point. I'm not sure where she goes.[/spoilers] I don't know how to max her out but she seems to not as straight forward.

That more or less does it for general tips I can give for beating the game. Have fun and let me know if you know how to finish delivery girl's friendship and if gacha girl's friendship really is RNG based.

On regards to the Dental Plan, it's impossible to achieve. The creator even warn such in the Itchio page.

As for the final battle, Gacha Girl has GBK's Again bonus, but not the pushback. Delivery Girl has attack boost depending on how many adjacent allies she has. Sir Cabbage has no Again bonus. The parents and the new couple do in fact do 3 damage.

@Nullstellnstaz, been a while since I played but I remember the trick being to make sure Magical Science goes last! You need to set up the people so that they allow her to absolutley aniahlatte everyone with her hit. Remember that the longer the chain goes, the more damage she does!

How do you beat the non-RNG side quests on the beach? They seem impossible since you're only allowed one turn.

Dayam, everyone should befriend that SirCabbage guy- he's clearly the best friendship option

Hello! I'm the first to admit my games can be kinda clumsy at explaining things, so this is a really useful guide for players who miss amnything, or need a nudge in the right direction. Thaks for taking the time to make it!
