Getting Started
Counter-Strikes competitive gamemode is one of my favourites. There are two versions of it, in this guide I will be explaining one "bomb defuse". In this gamemode you find a match with 10 different people, they are split in to two different teams, Counter Terrorits and Terrorists. The Terrorists have to think strategically on where to place the bomb, the Counter Terrorists have to come up with a game plan on location the bomb at either A or B bombsite.
Beginner Tips
- In Competitive gamemode it is recomended stay as a group
- Complete the objective
- Usually there is someone advanced on your team in the match. Listen to them!
- A good stratergy for the Counter Terrorists is to split up into two groups, one concisting of 2 players and the other having 3 players. When the match starts each group go to bomb site to find where the Terrorists are planting the bomb. when you find out where the bomb is being planted make sure to either type in chat "A" or "B"
- Remember Friendly Fire is on!
- In competitive gamemode players cannot walk through you! don't stand infront of doors/tunnels.
- There are 30 rounds
What to buy
At the beginning of the match you get given $1000 to spend on guns/bombs. I would recommend buying a Desert Eagle and a smoke bomb. Once you get atleast 4-5K I would recomend buying a good gun, try to choose the gun you are good at. For example I am good with an AK-47 So I would choose an AK-47. Keep in mind that the guns cost money so if you want an AWP you probably cant keep buying one every round
Note
If you do want to try out bomb defuse but not on a competitive level, you should play Casual. It is like Competitive gamemode but not so serious. This is also good for practise.

This is my first guide!

Just a little heads up, the guide is good but you made a mistake. You get $800 not $1000 in competitive.
