in SECMOD the grub/swarm pod is worth researching if have Tinker trait. For Exotic weapon specialist
They gave 24 Worm clusters compare worm pile Collecting using Beaker. Which get 12 (L. Beaker) and 6 on Small beaker.

That game PIG is clearly the most important item in the game. I waste an inventory slot on it every play-through.
