Introduction - What are the Servers?
RaiderZ NA has four servers separated into two regions. There is West, and East regions, which each have 2 servers! For West, there's Crawler and Fleetfoot, while East has Diago, and Chimera! Each of these servers have been around since official release, so they contain players of all lengths of time!

Everyone has a different preference when they play an MMO. Some want crazy popular, cut-throat competition, while others want a lax, slower pace of game play. While others seek something inbetween! RaiderZ offers 4 unique servers to accommadate any type of desire!

Many servers are the way they are due to how server selection is setup. And with no server merges/character transfers, making your server choice is very important! Picking the wrong server could have yourself playing in a server that you don't really like. This guides aims to help paint an accurate picture of the current situation with all servers.

The above video paints a great picture of the drastic differences in server selections.
Crawler, Fleetfoot, Diago, and Chimera
Crawler
Official Forums:
http://raiderz-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=691

Crawler is the most active and popular server of RaiderZ. It has remained this way since the early days of RaiderZ, and will continue to be the designated choice of those seeking the highest level of competitions, and the highest level of activity! A strong booming in-game economy fueled by plentiful material and gold productions, coupled with a strong guild list, has Crawler as the prime example of the best of RaiderZ.

Recommended Player Types: Everyone, Hardcore, Casual, Guild/Group

Fleetfoot
Official Forums:
http://raiderz-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=701

Fleetfoot grabs some of the popularity from Crawler, and remains an above average server in terms of activity. Much less guilds, and items available than in Crawler, but still with enough to enjoy the content all throughout the game. Fleetfoot will never bog you down, and will always keep you chugging along!

Recommended Player Types: Everyone, Casual

Diago
Official Forums:
http://raiderz-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=711

Diago is the first of the East Coast regional servers, and thus receives a healthy line of new players to keep the game churning! Players from the early days to new are enjoying the content RaiderZ has to offer at a much slower pace than in Crawler. The economy in Diago is drastically smaller than in Crawler, but there are still enough players and guilds to provide an engaging experience during dungeons, or other end-game content.

Recommended Player Types: Casual, Solitary

Chimera
Official Forums:
http://raiderz-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=721

Chimera was the selected hardcore server choice of early players of RaiderZ. And still to this day most hardcore players find themselves on Chimera itching to squeeze out every stat bonus they can find! Due to Chimera being last in the list of server choices, it has suffered a huge population and economical decline. It is a harsh server to thoroughly enjoy any content as there is a lack of any in-game economy, and there is a shortage of end-game level players, and guilds!

Recommended Player Types: Hardcore, Solitary, Competitive

Server Issues & Ongoing Problems
Universal Server Issues

- Common, and periodic latency spikes (Block/Dodges not counting)
- Common packet loss (Failed to Start Ability X)

Low Population Server Issues
Chimera, Diago, sometimes Fleetfoot

- No character transfer/server merges to 'get out' of these issues
- Brunes Glory content can not be experienced to its fullest
- Epic Temple of Renas (only end-game dungeon) content can not be experienced to its fullest
- Lack of raw materials, resources, and items in the market (can't enchant gear, can't craft end-game gear)
- Events like Epic Mt. Eda, or Black Swamp are inactive, rarely played

Solution: choose crawler if you want an active server , Choose fleetfoot if you want a less populated server
Ignore diago and chimera it's far too difficult to find a group to do the dungeons and level your character.

Their choice should be based on their opinion, not yours.

They can choose whatever server they want. The purpose of the guide is to enable player's to make the best choice, since it is so permanent.
