Hello and welcome to the complete Guide on finding each of the Books & Diaries in The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines.

It is worth noting that there are 5 Books or Diaries per World and when you collect a Book or Diary an icon will be shown on the World Map to indicate that you have collected it. Also on Tamaria Level 13, an NPC you spawn next to will tell you how many are left to be found in each World.

This Guide is one part of a much larger Guide I have also created that encompasses everything such as Weapons, Armor, Achievements and Secrets that can be found in the game.

Book 1

This Book is found in Everwood Level 2 and is located down a hidden path to the South of your Spawn Point and just East of the Cabin. As you can see from the image below, Gregor's Dagger is pointing at the path.

Book 2

This Book is found in Everwood Level 6 and is located down a hidden path immediately North East of the Exit Portal. As you can see from the image below, Gregor's Dagger is pointing at the path.

Book 3

This Book is found in Everwood Level 7 and is located behind a door in the North East of the Level. To open the door you will need to use your Time Stop ability to move the Shiny Barrel onto the Pressure Pad to the South of the door. As you can see from the images below, Gregor shows us how it's done!

Book 4

This Book is found in Everwood Level 8 and is located immediately below spawn. Unfortunately to get there you first need to head down the hidden path alongside where the Book is located and activate the Portal Pressure Pad.

Once you have activated the Portal Pressure Pad you then need to head to the Exit Portal and go through the Portal you opened up which will throw you all the way back to South of Spawn where you can grab the Book. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger shows the way.

Book 5

This Book is found in Everwood Level 13 and can be seen from the bottom of a hidden path immediately South of the Spawn Point. You will need to use your Time Stop ability to move the Shiny Barrel from the Exit Portal area and use it as a shield to protect you from arrows as you make your way down the path to the Book. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger guides us.

Book 1

This Book is found in Mount Drawn Level 1 and is located down a hidden path to the South East of the Exit Portal. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger is pointing at the path.

Book 2

This Book is found in Mount Drawn Level 7 and is located down a hidden path just East of a Shiny Crystal and Minecart. As you can see from the image below, Gregor's Dagger shows us the path.

Book 3

This Book is found in Mount Drawn Level 9 and is located behind a door in the North East of the Level. To open the door you will need to use your Time Stop ability to move one of the Shiny Cannonballs close enough to destroy the door. As you can see from the images below, Gregor shows us how it's done!

Book 4

This Book is found in Mount Drawn Level 11 and is located on the cliff immediately to the West of your Spawn Point. Unfortunately to get there you first need to activate the Portal Pressure Pad located quite a bit North West of the Spawn Point which will open a Portal to the very South West corner of the Level.

When you go through the Portal you opened up it will throw you to the cliff where the Book is located. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger shows the way.

Book 5

This Book is found in Mount Drawn Level 12 and is located down a hidden path when you choose to go as far North as possible immediately from the Spawn Point. You will need to activate two Yellow Crystals that control the door between you and the Book.

This is where a long range but slow weapon such as the Buster Wand comes in handy as it allows you to shoot then run to the next just as the first projectile hits the first Crystal. Make sure you are standing just about where the Shiny Cannonball is when you are shooting the first Crystal. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger guides us.

Book 1

This Book is found in Tamaris Level 3 and is located down on a cliff just to the North West of the Exit Portal. In order to get there you will first need to activate a Portal Pressure Pad located to the West of the very first Death Block.

Once you have activated the Portal Pressure Pad it will open a new Portal in the North East of the Level. When you go through the Portal it will throw you to the cliff where the Book is located. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger guides us.

Book 2

This Book is found in Tamaris Level 5 and is located to the South West corner of the Level. In order to pass the 3 Death Blocks you will need to use your Time Stop ability to alter their timing. Ideally they should be altered to move all at the same time to either side allowing you to use your Time Stop ability to run past them all. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger shows us how it's done!

Book 3

This Book is found in Tamaris Level 6 and is located in the North West of the Level. To reach it you will need to use your Time Stop ability to alter the timing of the Horizontal Death Block. By holding it in place with Time Stop the Vertical Death Block will destroy it allowing you to then run down to grab the Book. As you can see from the images below, Gregor shows us how it's done!

Book 4

This Book is found in Tamaris Level 10 and is located down a hidden path through the building in the South West corner of the Level. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger shows the way.

Book 5

This Book is found in Tamaris Level 12 and is located on an island in the centre of the Level. In order to reach it you will first need to activate a Portal Pressure Pad in the South Eastern corner of the Level.

Once you have activated the Portal Pressure Pad it will open up a Portal back at the Spawn Point, you can use the second bridge to get there. When you go through the new Portal it will throw you to the island where you can grab the Book. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger guides us.

In Avalon the Books are now called Diaries (but really they are still just Books) and as there are only 5 Levels in Avalon, there is 1 Diary per Level.

Diary 1

This Diary is located on a ledge to the West of the Level. In order to reach it you will need to first activate a hidden Portal Pressure Pad just East of the Exit Portal. It is hidden behind the Pink Tree so listen out for the clicking sound it makes when you walk over it.

Once the Portal Pressure Pad has been activated, a new Portal will open up back at the Spawn Point. When you go through the new Portal it will throw you to the ledge where you can grab the Diary. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger shows us that which we cannot see.

Diary 2

This Diary is located to the East of the Map. Unfortunately in order to reach it you will first need to activate a Portal Pressure Pad immediately South of the Spawn Point and Exit Portal. The next part is extremely difficult to explain as you now have to progress through a Portal Maze.

To make it as easy as possible, each set of Portals you come across I will be numbering. The Portal on the left will be the first number and the Portal on the right will be the second number.

Step 1

Enter the new Portal that the Portal Pressure Pad just opened. This will take you to Portal 2 and 3, you will now be standing next to Portal 2 so go through Portal 3.

Step 2

Portal 3 takes you to Portal 4 and 5, you will now be standing next to Portal 5 so go through Portal 5.

Step 3

Portal 5 takes you to Portal 6 and 7, you will now be standing next to Portal 6 so go through Portal 6.

Step 4

Portal 6 takes you to Portal 8 and 9, you will now be standing next to Portal 9 so go through Portal 8.

Step 5

Portal 8 takes you to Portal 10 and 11, you will now be standing next to Portal 10 so go through Portal 10.

Step 6

Portal 10 takes you to Portal 12, this is the final stop and where the Diary is located. Enter Portal 12 to go back to the Spawn Point Portal.

As you can see from the image below, Gregor's Dagger isn't really helpful at all.

Diary 3

This Diary is located at the end of a hidden path on the Eastern side of the Level just behind an Archway. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger shows us the path!

Diary 4

This Diary is located on a ledge in the North East corner of the Level. In order to reach it you will first need to activate a Portal Pressure Pad located in the South West corner of the Level down a slightly hidden path.

Once you have activated the Portal Pressure Pad it will open up a new Portal right next to the Spawn Point. When you go through the new Portal it will throw you to the ledge where you can grab the Diary. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger shows the way.

Diary 5

This Diary is found during the Boss fight. In order to find it you will first need to damage the Boss to get to the second phase of the fight where he will teleport you to an area you will recognise as the Tutorial Zone.

Once you are at the Tutorial Zone Swamp there is a hidden path on the South that leads to the final Diary. As you can see from the images below, Gregor's Dagger guides us.
