Thanks for writing the guide, I'm sure many players will learn a lot.
I wanted to point out that you didn't explain Markman's Just Frame (fast electric kick), that's a big part of his kit and even though it feels random most of the time, going for it sometimes works! Here 's a video that shows a "training mode" for this kick.
To expand on your "Countering Dr. Shoals" section: Upkick isn't the only way to counter her, and, upon facing skilled Dr. Shoals players, it becomes a liability because of her air special. I'm #1 on Dr. Shoals leaderboards at the moment, and I'm decent at Markman, so I asked my friend to help me out in shooting a Markman vs Dr. Shoals session where I use Feint a lot. i believe Feint is a better tool against Shoals.
