Ludwig hurried out of his lab and briskly walked down the empty corridors of the base towards where the rest of the RED mercs were hanging out. Yet he felt he was being watched. He quickened his pace and rounded the corner, entering the top floor of the lab atrium. Suddenly, behind him he heard a soft click, and the sound of flowing gas. There was a sharp tick of a piezo spark, and the unmistakable sound of a flamethrower filled the empty halls - along with muffled screams.
