Welcome!
Welcome to my guide with general tips to help you play the game! If you are having trouble with the game, I recommend you read this guide. If you are very familiar with the game and you're relatively good at the game, you might want to skip this guide all together. I hope this guide helps!
Avoiding Projectiles
When I play the game I start to get into this sort of rhythm, I keep moving without stopping unless it's to jump over the ground type enemies or to pick up power ups. The game can feel like a bullet hell at times, with projectiles all over the place and too many enemies on screen. It is a very good idea to try and get rid of as many enemies as possible in order to avoid having a ton of projectiles to dodge. When dodging projectiles, I try to find any small or large gap I can fit in while between multiple projectiles. Like I said before, I get into a rhythm where I keep on moving and dodge projectiles as I go. You'll soon get to know the attack patterns of each enemy and boss. After I learned most of the patterns, I kept moving in rhythm of those patterns. But that isn't the only way to dodge projectiles. You could be slow and focus on one type of enemy at a time, or completely reactionary to where you try and find any projectile heading towards you and dodging it quickly. It's all up to you for how you want to dodge.
Credit
Something I didn't realize until a bit of playing was that the credits you collect on the ground dropped by enemies will refill some of your time limit for your power up weapon. Also the amount of credit you collect in one game doesn't equal the amount of credit you will receive towards unlockables. You only receive a certain amount of credit based off the amount of credit you've earned in that game. Enemies will drop credits if you take out an entire group of them, that mostly consists of the same enemy type in a straight line.
Power Ups & Hearts
Power ups consist of increasing your fire rate (Rapid Fire) or giving you new weapons for a limited time. In order to get a Power Up, you need to kill a bigger version of an enemy. They are usually easy to spot but for example, here are some pictures of what they would look like compared to their original counterparts. In order to get hearts, you need to kill a more brightly colored enemy, sometimes shining a rainbow color. These enemies are usually rare so it'll take awhile for them to appear. Here's some example photos of what to look for.
Bonus Levels
Bonus Levels can score you a ton of credit, but it is very dangerous! You have to avoid falling objects from Tetris blocks to Meteors. It is very easy to take damage during Bonus Levels, but it is possible to get a lot of credit by shooting the falling objects enough times. There is no skipping a Bonus Level so if you want to avoid it, don't shoot the falling objects. If you shoot the objects, they will break into smaller pieces that can also harm you.
Challenges
Every time you start another game, there's a chance that you'll be challenged by two other people. Sometimes they just appear to talk and sometimes they give you a challenge. The challenges mostly consist of Jumping 25 times, don't touch a ball for 60 seconds, and some where you don't really need to do anything. For example killing a certain amount of enemies without breathing. All you need to do is kill the enemies. Or a challenge like Try Harder... Ok? You just need to keep playing and that challenge will be complete at the end of the level.
Thanks For Reading!
Thank you for reading, I hope this all helped. I didn't mention the robot guy but I still don't fully understand him yet so I didn't mention him. I really hope this helped you and I hope you have a great time playing this game!
