Downgrade the Steam version to 1.0 (Updated 2020) Option 2

The current version of GTA San Andreas is 3.0 on Steam, but in order to modify the game on steam you need to make a small Downgrade that returns us to version 1.0 which is the most used to make all kinds of modifications.

Install

We unzip all the files in the main folder of the game.

We run the install.bat file to start downgrade. A command window will open, this process may take a few minutes. When the installation finishes the files that we unzip will be automatically deleted and we will have the Downgrade version of GTA SA v.1.0

For all of you whining about your loads crashing the game, you have to start a new game. Your saves on v3.0 will not be compatible with v1.0.

Awesome guide! thanks for making this easy to find as most of the downgrade links from back in the day have become hard to find!

To the noobs who can't figure this out...Buy an old UK Copy from Ebay...No downgrade required.
