I found this by using the Grounded ID to search in /steamapps/compatdata , and going through the same process as windows. Hope this helps!

Add lines as instructed in original comment to the newly opened .ini.
In-fact it COULD in theory, help your performance as their implementation is very aggressive even on the lowest quality setting. The constant turning it off and on when its needed could create inconsistent framepacing, thus leading to stutters.
