Yes that is something i learned aswell the gap difference it seems to be massive. Also do you have any clue how i signed JT Realmuto on free agency (still his bad ass 5 star ranking) and we go in to winter come back to spring training and he just 2,5 stars? (rescouting wasnt the issue he really lost some) Is this something like in 3 years he might go on a "spiritual trip" comes back feeling better and got some of his old him back? I believe there have been literally dozens of future all-stars just gobbled up in the minor league portion since the jump from AA to AAA is a lot closer then AAA to the majors.

irl, i hear Rule 5 picks are the most underrated way of acquiring players. one thing that isn't in the game that should be is a little secret that happens in real life: minor league teams also have rule 5 drafts. meaning AAA teams draft from AA which draft from A+ etc. future stars get drafted all the time, usually in the minor league portion
