This guide is not my work. This guide was originally made by The Hereteck and posted in a discussion, with his permission I have republished it here. Be aware this is riddled with spoilers and this is his walkthrough, meaning it may not work for everyone nor may it be the best route through the game. (Although when I played it it worked well)

(Time is irrelevant, I finished in 23 days in Sorcery! 3 and he was not aware.)

Have a pre-existing character with these items.

-At least 40 gold on hand.

-Nose plugs or Goblins tooth

-Enter a cave or move on

-read it until you see you follow the diagram onwards, and are starting to feel quite dizzy.
-Put the book back

-do not attack flanker
-on second option drop the sword

(At this point you can choose your own path, though being a necromancer Order and Immortality/Live forever was my choice.)

-pick up the crown
-wear it
-choose Flanker's fate

More experienced players will notice I glossed over many treasures along the path and ran the play through 1 unneeded fight.

I did this for the sake of a direct guide, I hope those who use this guide will continue to go back and explore like I have and am doing even now.

So with that, have fun exploring and don't play with death wraiths, they hold grudges. ;P

I got to all the way to the point where it says to go through an archway, to the center, then to the north side. I couldnt for the life of me figure out what you wanted me to do, as theres no north side and the passage through the dark hallway is covered in flamable logs. Sorry to say but this guide could use some pollish. Its possible that the devs have updated the options or something recently
