Introduction
In case you haven''t heard, Eroico is a tough game that takes a pristine level of knowledge of the map layouts, the enemy patterns, the movement & attack mechanics.

However, what if you don't want to use half the skill you think you have? No problem! There is a single button that can magically lure enemies closer to you, make you impervious to damage, and will even allow you utilize a free dodge in the process.
Prerequisites
In order to use this power bestowed upon you by the mightiest of Gods to shred the flesh of the unworthy, to rend the defenses of the cowardly, to cause chaos on a massive scale to the innocent: You have to be in "Adult Content" mode.

I know it can be scary out there with rabid cat-girls, gender-bending witches, and sentient feminine checkpoints, but this is merely the mischievous developers trying to slow you down from dominating total conquest of ULTIMATE POWER
The Button
The dreaded BUTTON!!

H

That's the button.

I'm serious. If you didn't see the "trip" section in the controls menu and didn't give it a try, then you might be brain-dead.

H activates a 'trip' that makes your character fall back & activate his vulnerable state. In this state he's invulnerable to damage, other forms of knock-back, & will draw nearby enemies to commit acts that are considered unchristian.

"In what different ways can I use such power, oh great knowledgeable one?"
I don't know why I gave you such a dignified voice as I guarantee your actual voice would have produced voice cracks with the ability to shatter plexiglass.

Okay so here's a few different ways to use the trip.

  • The Slimegirl and Pixiewoman projectiles can just be ignored
  • The Lizerdwoman axe boomerangs can be ignored
  • The Wizard projectiles can be ignored
  • Annoying/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Boss phases can be utterly ignored
  • Stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall arrows can be ignored
  • The giant level three axes can be ignored!
  • ♥♥♥♥ it! Ignore all the enemies and bosses! They don't deserve your time! They only want that armoured trouser snake of yours. Go get a girl who cares about what's under the armour... and the skin... I'm losing track of myself.

Ignore damage.

Yeah.

Also you can use it as a momentum boost by quickly turning around and tripping, but you might as well do that with a dodge since you don't have to spam all of your controls to get back up.

Instructions unclear; failed virgin-run.

This is needed, if you try to do the pacifist run (where you don't kill anything, except the ghosts and bosses.)

There's also shortcuts you can take by using a mid-air trip as a sort of double jump
