There isn't really an universal gift, but a lot of people tend to like produce from your farm i.e. crops, milk and eggs. People tend to like or at least be alright with flowers as well, especially the female folk of the town~

I knew that they liked grasses, but I never really tried every grass, because at points I gave some of them grass that they didn't like and I didn't really dare to experiment afterwards sdfdg (But I already knew that they all at least liked Red Grass)

I wasn't aware that there was such a easy way to remember, so thank you for the tip~! I'll put it into the guide~

while all of the harvest sprites like honey their favorite items are infact grass but you have to give each harvest sprite grass linked to their color
IE Cherry favors red grass, Sunny favors Yellow Grass, Blueberry favors Indigo so on and so forth
