Look out! With this mod, raiders can swim through deep water! But that means your colonists can as well...

People can swim through deep water at 4.2% move speed. No other stats are affected while in deep water. Oh, also, they'll be considered as "lying down" (lower accuracy)

Yes, it works with Rainbeau's Fertile Fields (Impassable water will be passable) and sd Terraforming remains untested.

@RaixN The movement speed for different terrains are decided by their definitions. This mod just makes them passable and adds some logic for pawn-rendering and aiming. I think there is a swimming mod on the workshop that allows the modifification of swimspeed that might fit better for you

@Mlie Is it possible to change the swim speed? If not, could you add that option? When playing on a map with a lot of water it is possible for raiders to spawn at the edge of the map and starve before attacking, which feels like cheating.

Well that was an interesting hour.

Reducing everything to just two mods corrected whatever was causing the error, but I had expected Vanilla Expanded Framework to be involved. Yet, limited to just those three mods, I still was unable to recreate the error. Given that far to many of my 'thousands of hours' come from reloading mod packs... I realized that I just want to play for a change!

Unlikely some other poor soul out there is running the exact same spaghetti as I.
So unless someone else comes along with this bug, consider it 'solved.'
