Slipstream can be a difficult game to be sure, but through practice and time it is my belief anyone can gain all the achievements. Keep in mind that achievements can't be earned on the easy difficulty, you must play on either medium or hard to obtain achievements. Additionally, when going for achievements in certain modes, you will have to pay close attention to settings, with the correct configurations provided in this guide.

As with most games, some achievements can be obtained in the process of going after other, more challenging ones. In Slipstream, these achievements include Perfectionist I, Perfectionist II, and No Road Not Taken.

I have done my best to find the specific settings and circumstances for every achievment, but there is inevitably some situation I have not encountered. If you happen to learn something new or notice an oversight on my behalf, please comment accordingly. When looking for an achievement on this page, feel free to ctrl+f and search for it by name.

The most obvious, and easiest way to do this is load up the Ruby Cup and start the first race with no upgrades. With some practice, attaining this should not be difficult. This achievement does not require the completion of the entire cup and should be awarded after the single track is won.

To gain this achievement, you must simply complete a run of Grand Tour Mode. This achievement does not require beating any rivals or taking a certain route, merely get from beginning to end and you have this achievement.

The most challenging part of Grand Tour is avoiding vehicles, if you get past this you'll be unstoppable.

To gain this achievement, you must complete a single stage in arcade mode without coming in contact with any vehicles, obstacles, or physical barriers. This does not require winning against a rival, or taking a specific route, but for the achievement to be rewarded you must complete the run (though again, not necessarily win it). This achievement will come in practice in time, get familiar with handling your vehicle at high speeds.

To gain this achievement, you must stay in a slipstream for at least 15 seconds. This is likely the most skill-intensive achievement, but there is an easy way to go about it. Load up Stardust Speedway in Cannonball with a good 15 stages and turn traffic and racers to their maximums. Once in the race, get behind an pedestrian vehicle and slipstream. From here, stay behind them and bump them forward to remain behind them. Try this repeatedly and you will get the achievement in time.
