Thanks for reading my guide on how to make friends in this awesome name JOURNEY, Remember this is probably not a desirable way to make friends in this game but this is one of the possible way(probably) to add someone you meet

There might be few mislead but i have tried to filter em all out at my best,so please appreciate my work and HEY Like and comment below on what you think ITS FREE ! so basically DO IT XD

Basics before you start making friends

How this game works?

‣‣Every stranger you meet ingame has an unique code which is linked to their gaming account's name (
Steam or Epic games and on other platforms if possible).

‣‣These code will be in a form of QR code which is visible only when you or that sweet stranger you
met Taunt/making tweet sound.]

‣‣When you and the other player with you taunt together nearby, the game registers it as you meet
that player.. but hold on youre not DONE yet !.

‣‣You can do this with anyone at any point in the game,making a good friend is really hard since
you cant interact with any players; But i hope it goes well for everyone :3

How do you know that you made any friends?

Read Above Title carefully before you proceed to this one!

Now bare with me sweet reader, this might trigger you ;-;

‣‣After you did all that i have mentioned above, you can choose to finish the game by yourself if
nobody came along with you or play together with that wholesome stranger you met or anyone who hangout with you^^

‣‣i recommend you to play with someone since its hard to make it through few part of this game

‣‣To know who you met in this game, you gotta make it to the end(Yes its a long way to go but hey
you have chance to meet someone and break your loneliness <3 or make a friend)

‣‣At the end of the game after credits you can find the usernames of everyone you met in your
journey for happiness

How do i know if i made it to the end ? and how to add them?

‣‣You will see this screen when you made it to the end. its gonna take about 1 or 30 mins depends on
how good youre at this game :)

‣‣Wait till the credits end and you will see all the username of players you met in your journey, before
you get confused with the Code and the username i cant Guarantee or confirm that the username is accurate ID on steam or Epicgame ID so it depends on your luck unfortunately.

I CANT ADD MY FRIEND I SEARCHED THE NAME BUT 2 OF THE ONES I SEARCHED DIDNT POP UP IM CRYING

i am still very curious, if we could find out, why a certain group of people crashes at the end and others can just play normally... T T

thankfully there is a solution for those, who regularly crash:

find your SAVE.bin and drop it on the homepage to find the companion(s)

I haven't played the game since my last try so I don't know if they have updated any new features to add partners of your journey, also you need to acknowledge that if you make it to the end and willing to add the players if shows you better add em quick by searching their name; orelse you're gonna lose them forever I'm afraid ( because they can change their name on steam anytime and u wouldn't know cuz u can clear alias)

well, i just played a game with some guy and the game crashed as soon as i sees the names :(

how i "make friends ingame": interact with them, dont be selfish and go where you want. often people say "my companion left me", while actually they just went on where they wanted.
making friends always needs 2 people :)

code - symbol from companion will be a different symbol on their side. so saying i had the symbolX on our journey, doesnt pay off. they saw symbolZ on your chest...

no names, agree, its most likely signs that can not be shown by the game :(

@Kofimoon, i guess its probably because of few player's ingame are on non-unicode ascii code.
( Eg: their name is probably not in understandable hex format language that computer can convert. like chinese language or other fancy fonts)
