This is my first guide, any feedback is welcome!
I've tried to organise related achievements together but Ctrl+F is your friend.
If there's a specific achievement you need help with feel free to ask in the comments, I will amend the guide with any relevant information and credit anyone who helps :)

This guide is a work in progress, please bear with me while I get everything filled out.
Everything should be in here now. I'll come back and update with more info as relevant or with any tips anyone else would like to contribute.

- Edit a Driver, Car and Badge in Customisation

Go to the Customisation tab on the main menu and enter each of the customisation sections and change everything. You should get this when you initially create your character.


- Equip a new pair of gloves from the Podium Pass or Item Shop

Buy a new pair of gloves from the store or earn a pair from Podium Pass and equip them through the Player Customisation section.


- Set a favourite trophy

View your super license by pressing F10 on your keyboard (L3 on controller) while on the main menu. Go to the Trophy tab and set a trophy. To earn a trophy, win a race in career mode or participate in a weekly online event.


- Fill every sponsor slot with sponsors on a Car livery

While this can be done in Career/My Team, you can add sponsors to your multiplayer car through the Customisation system.




- Read information on any car in the showroom

Go to the Showroom tab on the main menu and view any car from any type (F1/Classic/F2).


- Play a captured highlight

Go to the Theatre tab on the main menu and view any of your previous races.


- Make an adjustment within photo mode

While in a highlight playback (see "Look at you go!" achievement above), enter photo mode using the default key of Tab (Options / Start on PS4/Xbox) and change any of the settings from the menu. You may have to change tabs to get to the actual photo settings.

- Activate a Flashback

Press Tab / Options / Start during a race and select the "Instant Reply / Flashback" option. Press F1 (Square on Playstation / X on Xbox) to activate Flashback.


- Activate DRS perfectly on all zones of any track

Easily done in a Career/My Team practice session doing the Track Acclimatisation program.


- Achieve pole position

Finish first during qualifying.


- Get on the F1 podium for the first time

Finish a race in first, second, or third.


- Set the fastest time in all 3 Practice sessions, take Pole Position and win the Grand Prix

Easiest to do in Career/My Team. Participate in every practice session (don't simulate anything) and have the fastest time in all sessions and qualifying. Then win the race!


- Win a race after starting in last position on the grid

Disqualify, DNF, or place last in qualifying and then win the race. Easy enough to do on Lv20 AI over a 3/5-lap race.


- Beat a Personal Best Ghost and Rival Ghost in Time Trial

Go to the Solo tab in the main menu and select Time Trial. Set a slow time on a track and then perform a faster lap than the two ghosts.


- Complete a clean Time Trial lap using the 'Maximum Top Speed' car set up preset

Before leaving the garage on a Time Trial, navigate to the Car Setup tab and select the 'Maximum Top Speed' preset.


- Win any Championship Event

Winning the My Team championship did not trigger this achievement for me. I believe you have to go to the Solo tab of the main menu and enter the Championship mode and complete one of those. There is a 5-event "Legendary Tracks Classic" championship to minimise effort on this one.




- Complete a race using Elite Driver Proficiency (Standard Race Style)

This can be done anywhere but to save your rank online or progress in a career mode, do this in a Grand Prix. When you get to the Grand Prix setup, change your assist Driving Proficiency to the preset setting of 'Elite' in the Assists tab.
This can be done on a 3-lap race, you just have to reach the finish line.


- Win a race whilst using manual transmission

In your assist settings before the race, change the transmission setting to 'Manual' or 'Manual and Suggested Gear' and win the race.

You'll most likely not pick these up in the course of playing the game. You can complete these by using the Grand Prix option in the Solo menu.

Most of these (not Red River Racer) can be completed on a 3-lap race. You can use flashbacks as much as you need to and any level of assists.


- Win a race in the 1992 Williams FW14B at Silverstone

Select Classic Cars from the Grand Prix setup, set the car as the 1992 Williams FW14B and set the track to Silverstone (Britain).


- Complete a 25% or above race at Hanoi

Select any type of cars from GP, set the track as Hanoi. Make sure the race length is configured to 25% (or higher) and finish the race.

- Win a race at Zandvoort as Max Verstappen

Select F1 2020 cars, select Red Bull, choose Max Verstappen as your driver and set the track as Zandvoort (Netherlands).


- Gain 9 positions during a wet race at Brazil in the Brawn BGP 001

Select Classic Cars from the Grand Prix setup, set the car as the 2009 Brawn GP BGP-001, and set the track as Brazil. When you configure the GP, go to the weather tab and set the weather either to wet or very wet. Make sure to set a qualifying method and you can disqualify yourself or crash out of qualifying to start from the back, or just post a slow time. If aggressive you can do this on a 3-lap race with low-level AI.

All of these achievements can be completed in the My Team mode but not all can be completed in the Career mode. There is no reason from an achievement hunting perspective to play the Career mode.



- Complete your first race weekend in My Team mode

Finish a race weekend! Doesn't matter if you simulate anything. Nice and simple.


- Complete 2 or more Secondary Sponsor Goals in one race weekend

Pick out two sponsorships from the Corporate menu's Sponshorship tab that are easy enough to achieve together i.e. qualify above 10th and finish above 10th. You will need to reach acclaim level 5 to unlock a second sponsor.


- Reach $100,000,000 lifetime earnings in My Team mode

You'll get this through completing sponsor bonuses, participating in race weekends, and gradually over time through your main sponsor. Keep playing and you'll get it eventually.


- Reach a Team Acclaim level of 20 in My Team mode

Keep racing and playing My Team mode until your team acclaim reaches level 20. This might take you a while but performing better in races will speed this up.


- Complete 5 Invitational events during My Team or Driver Career

These events will appear in your calendar occasionally between race weekends. Make sure to not simulate them and you should be able to unlock this with ease.


- Win the F1 Drivers Championship

Possible to unlock in both My Team and Career modes. Will require you to place on the podium or win most of the races in your season. Lowering the AI level will obviously make this easier for you if you're struggling.


- Win the Constructors Championship with your team in My Team mode

Get enough points alongside your second driver in My Team mode to win the Constructors Championship. If you are unable to do this alone, upgrade your second driver and your car as much as possible.


- Answer 100 press interview questions in My Team or Driver Career

You should get this during the course of playing either mode. You will only get an interview after a practice/qualifying/race session if you complete it yourself (simulating does not count).




- Successfully complete a Driver/Team Negotiation during a season in Driver Career or My Team

Use the Driver Market system in My Team mode to change your second driver or sign for a new team in Career mode. For My Team I had to wait until after the season had finished when contracts were up for renewal.


- Successfully hire an acclaim level 15 or higher Driver in My Team mode

Hire a second driver with an acclaim level of 15 or higher. This will cost you a lot of money and will probably be one of the last achievements you unlock from My Team. Having this better tier of driver will help you push for a constructors win if you are struggling on your own.
Second drivers can be purchased/viewed from the Corporate > Driver Market tab.


- Successfully completed 50 activities in My Team mode

Go to the Overview tab and then the Activities tab. From there you can set up activities to be completed outside of race weekends. Make sure you are filling these as much as possible before advancing time.


- Purchase any upgrade for a Facility in My Team

Enter the Facilities tab in the main My Team mode menu and select a facility. Select one of the 2-4 areas that you can upgrade. These will generally cost you somewhere between $2m and 5m for the initial levels.


- Fully upgrade any facility area in My Team

Same process as the previous achievement (Team Building) but you need to buy all upgrades for one section (Fabrication/Build Time/Quality Control/Resource Point Generation) of one facility.


- Apply all vehicle upgrades from one R&D department

You'll need to unlock every vehicle upgrade from one R&D department (either aero, power, chassis, or durability). This will require you to upgrade the level of your chosen R&D facility as some upgrades have a level 2/3 department requirement to unlock.


- Purchase all available Perks in Driver Career or My Team

Head over to the Corporate tab of the My Team menu and go to the Contracts tab. Press F2 (Y / Triangle) to access the Driver Perks system. Buying each level costs $200k+ but will give you reasonable benefits. Each tier is impeded by your driver's acclaim (Lv8 to get T2, Lv15 to get T3). Buy all perks to complete this achievement.


- Set up your own F1 team and show your car to the world at the pre-season car reveal

As long as you don't skip the car reveal in the My Team pre-season, you should get this in the course of starting the campaign.




- Drive your team's car out on track for the first time in My Team mode

Enter a practice / qualifying / race session in your team's car.


- Complete 10 Practice Programmes in F1 during My Team or Driver Career

Don't simulate your practice sessions and complete 10 programmes yourself. You can get this over two race weekends (maximum of 6 programmes per weekend).




- Change your driver head part way through a My Team or Driver Career playthrough

During a Career/My Team season (complete at least one race weekend), enter the player customisation from the main menu and change the face of your Career/My Team character.

These can only be completed in multiplayer Leagues.

- Join a League

Have a friend invite you to a League and accept the invitation.


- Get a League Medal

Finish first, second, or third in a League.
From testing, this needs to be a league containing at least one other human player and consisting of at least 5 tracks. 5 laps length and short tracks are great for finishing this off quickly.




- Complete Ranked Placement races and achieve a Rank

Complete 5 online ranked races and receive your placement rank.




- Spectate an online race

Easily done by finding an unranked lobby. There is an option to Spectate on the left-hand side, select that and watch the race unfold!


- Complete 10 Online Races

Finish 10 races in any online mode (league/unranked/ranked).


- Complete 25 Online Races

Finish 25 races in any online mode.


- Complete 50 Online Races

Finish 50 races in any online mode.


- Win any online race

Enter either a League race or a ranked/unranked lobby and finish in 1st place.


- Complete 10 Clean Online races

Get no penalties or warnings in an online race. You'll need to avoid all collisions and keep within the track limits.
