As you start it up, this should be the screen you first see and can interact with. It will take a while for you to be able to click on anything but as soon as you see that "BEGIN" button underneath that big blue ALYX you should be able to start.


CLICK ON IT AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

1. After hitting "BEGIN" this should be the very next screen you see. As soon as you see it you need to scroll down as fast as you can. Until you get to the next screen. Don't, i repeat, DON'T waste your time reading anything! Reading will eat up those precious seconds!




2. When you've come to this screen you need to stop. Put the breaks on that scrolling if you have too, but it is imperative that you stop right here.

1. This next step is crucial. Look over to the left of the screen. See that bar that says "Contents"? Well you need to bring your mouse over to it the side and hover over it. This should bring up what is known as the "Table of Contents"








2. When you've done that, go down to Chapter 15 "I Will See You Up Ahead". Click on it to skip over all the other chapters.


Some may say that this tactic is taking advantage of in game exploits. But I believe that if the mechanic is in game it does not count as cheating. And if it the developers never intended for the players to use it they wouldn't have included it in the end product.

THIS IS IT!

Provided you've done everything according to instruction thus far that means you've done the hardest part, and are soon to be over with your speedrun of Half-Life: Alyx - Final Hours.









1. Provided you've skipped the previous chapter using the Table of Contents exploit I mentioned earlier, you should be looking at this screen. That means there's only on thing left to do. Unfortunately you cannot simply skip over the final chapter of the game, so you must fall back to earlier tactics.
