How to effectively use this guide
Welcome to this guide! This section will give you a brief overview of what to expect and how to play as efficient as possible. Remember that you can always post a comment in case you have any questions.

Tedious achievement warning
This game doesn't really require any planning to get all achievements, but you should be aware you need to complete a very tedious achievement. This requires you to play the game for several hours straight without ability to pause and not paying attention for like 10 seconds will make you lose! So keep that in consideration before you start. Doing this achievement together with someone else will definitely make it more bearable.

Deluxe Edition
The deluxe edition is not required to 100% this game.

General
You Spin Me Right Round
Follow a lady into the big smoke

I've Made a Huge Mistake
Make a huge mistake

Tijuana Taxi
Drove straight for Beth

These are all story related and can't be missed.

That's Where The Happy People Go
View the "How's Your Driving" screen outside of the DMV ride. Useful, isn't it?

After you completed the first tutorial job at the DMV, press escape to view your progress.

It's Tuesday!
Stand still for a minute of silence at The Memorial

In the second area there is an island all the way in the south, which you can reach by jumping over the ferries or by using the inflatiboat. Once on the island, the camera will zoom out a bit to show a statue. Just keep your hands off the keyboard for a minute and that's all you need to do.

Baby Come Back
Die 360 times

You will probably unlock this before getting all other achievements. If not, just keep running into a ravine repeatedly or anything that works for you.

The Horn Proclaimers
Honk your horn 500 times, then honk your horn 500 more

If you have any basic math skill you know 500 + 500 = 1000, so you need to hit the horn that many times. Just occasionally hit the horn during the story to farm it over time to make it a bit more bearable.

I Will Survive
Survive the Mountain Fair Demolition Derby without exploding

At the job near the fairground in the third map you will need to do a demolition derby against five police cars. You need to complete this mission without getting destroyed. Might takes you a couple of tries, but isn't too difficult.

25 or 6 to 4
Reach a 35x multiplier

You need to reach a 48x multiplier for the "Cold As Ice" achievement, so please refer to that achievement for tips.

I've Covered Wars, You Know
Revolve over 53,596 times

You will get quite some revolves during your playthrough and while farming the achievements, but that probably won't be enough. I was at around 30.000 when I completed all other achievements. You can just leave your computer run over night to farm this. Keep in mind that boosting and jumping makes you spin faster, so you can improve the farm rate through that.

If you want to check your progress, you can look in your save file at:
steam/steamapps/common/roundabout/savedata

And check for the line with "stat.revolves".

Feels So Good
Reach 100% completion on a mission

Every mission has a set of optional objectives, which can be seen at the start of a mission. Often these include things like: finish within a certain time, don't jump, don't use abilities, reach a certain multiplier, don't hit tire stacks, don't take damage or don't die. Complete all objectives for one mission and this is all yours. They don't have to be done all together in a single run. You can just do them one by one.

What a Fool Believes
Reach 100% completion for the entire game

To get 100% you need to:
  • Complete all jobs
  • Complete all optional objectives (there's no tracker, so check jobs one by one...)
  • Collect all stars, jumps, horns and stashes
  • Buy all paint jobs, hats and properties
  • Unlock all other achievements, except "Smoke & Mirrors" and "I've Covered Wars, You Know"

Upgrades
(Love Is) Thicker Than Water
Unlocked the Inflatiboat For Cars

Will be unlocked during the story automatically.

Rubberband Man
Unlocked the Reverser Wheel

During the game you will encounter a lot of blue tire stacks which allows you to swap your spinning direction. Hit 100 stacks to unlock the Reverser Wheel.

Keep on Truckin'
Unlocked the Traffic Coner

To unlock this item you need to drive over 250 traffic cones. You will probably get most of these by playing through the story. You can farm this unlock by reloading the map at the starter area, as the DMV area has a lot of traffic cones.

Baby on Board
Aggressively warn a dozen pedestrians with the Trafffic Coner

With the traffic coner you will shoot traffic cones, which causes pedestrians to flee. Just go to a busy area, like the mall or beach, and spam some cones!

Ring My Bell
Unlocked the Pickup Finder

You will unlock this by finding 50% of the cash stashes in the game. There's another achievement to collect all stashes, so you will get this eventually anyway.

Play That Funky Music
Unlocked the Beary Nice Music Box

You need to hit 2500 pedestrians to unlock this upgrade. Just like the traffic cones you will probably get the majority of this amount by playing through the game. If you really want to farm for it, I recommend going to the beach in the second area.

Cold as Ice
Unlocked the Multiplier Freezer

This is a pretty tough one. You will need to get a 48x multiplier. The easiest way is to wait till you completed the story and got most other upgrades. Just start some jobs in the first area, as there are less hazards, and also occasionally jump on top of nearby roundabouts or buildings to get an extra multiplier token. If you chain 2-3 jobs in a row you should be able to get this pretty consistently.

You can also follow this video:

Collectibles
Gonna Fly Now
Accomplish every Sick Jump

Low Rider
Discover all of the horns

For the Love of Money
Collect every Cash Stash

Around the maps there are hidden jumps, horns and stashes. Below is a guide which shows you the locations of all these items. I highly recommend to copy the images into Paint and cross off the visited locations. Items you already collected show up as multiplier coin. Some objects are located in the water or on islands and can only be reached using the inflatiboat.

Star Power
Collect every star in a single ride

Still The One
Collect every star in every ride

When playing a mission there will be a path outlined with coins containing a star. You will need to pick up all stars of a job for this achievement. Keep in mind that some stars might be a little bit of the track, so make sure to look around in areas close by. Stars you already collected earlier will appear as multiplier coins. You don't have to collect all stars in a single run.

Feels Like the First Time
Purchase something from The Chrome Dome

Possession Obsession
Purchase every hat and paint job

On the map there are various purple wrench icons where you can buy cosmetics. If you need more money, look for cash stashes or invest in properties.

Fly Like an Eagle
Purchase a pet eagle

In the previously mentioned shop you can buy a "hat" called Greg the Eagle.

Hotel Roundabout
Purchase some property

True Maximilian
Purchase every property

On the map there are various house icons where you can buy a property. These will generate money for you over time, which you can use for the other achievements.

Challenges
Straight to the Pool Room
In "Ball Bouncers", bounce the ball at least 12 times

Ball Bouncers is a challenge where you have to avoid dropping a ball on the floor by staying underneath it. You have a limited area to move around in though, so try to keep your movement at a minimum to avoid the ball bouncing far away.

Sweet Freedom
In "Run Like Crazy", get 150 yards away

In this challenge you need to get as far away as possible from the starting area within a limited time. The easiest way is to go north and use the tunnel shortcut to gain a lot of distance quickly. But anything really works though if you can decently dodge most stuff.

Fire and Rain
In "Death from Above", survive for 30 seconds

Cars will constantly crash out of the sky, which you need to dodge! Cars won't despawn, so you can't go in laps. It might take you a few tries to get an optimal route, but it shouldn't be too difficult to last 30 seconds.

Disco Inferno
In "Destruction Derby", take out 8 cars

This is the exact same challenge as you will encounter at the fairground during the story. The only difference is that you will need to destroy at least eight cars now instead of five.

Assistant Professor
In "The Great Hunt", find 6 regions

This challenge requires you to find hidden areas marked with an objective circle. You will hear a beeping sound, which will go faster as you are getting closer and thus going in the right direction. You have a time limit though, so better hurry up. The locations are completely random, so it might take you a couple of tries to get six.

Angry Eyes
In "Limocide", take out 50 pedestrians

Here you need to kill pedestrians, which will reset the game over time. This will go faster and faster each kill though, so keep that in mind. I highly recommend to use the music box upgrade, as this will lure pedestrians to your limousine, which makes this challenge way easier.

Pope on the Ropes
In "Farming Simulator 1977", complete your farming in under 40 seconds

You need to farm a certain amount of crops as quickly as possible. All I can say is that this just takes some practice. Try to plot an optimal route between the farmlands with most crops.

Welcome to eSports
Complete your first eSports Speedrun Challenge

The esport speedrun basically is doing all the jobs of Roundabout in a row nonstop. You can take as long as you like and dying is no problem.

Better Than Mama
Get a better eSports Speedrun Time than the No Goblin team

Keep boosting constantly and I recommend to use the shrinking ability. You can also look up some speedrun videos to learn various tricks, like dying on purpose to get respawned in a better place to save time. I don't know the required time, but I got the achievement on my first attempt without trying too hard, which was around 21 minutes.

Wheels of Steel
Complete an eSports Speedrun without exploding

In my opinion the most difficult achievement, but doable as long as you take your time. The first map is really easy, but the second and especially third need your full attention. The biggest danger is wanting to go too fast, which causes you to make mistakes. Just go slow, take time to spin accordingly, keep jumping at a minimum and use the shrinking ability all the way through. Remember that you will get repaired after every completed job, but you can also drive to the nearest garage after getting some hits. I recommend doing a normal run first to remember the dangerous parts, which in my opinion include:
  • Mall in first area (no jumping)
  • Harbor and ferries in second area
  • Airport, ice platforms and fairground in third area
  • Parts where objects fall from the sky, like the cars and cable carts
  • The final part where you need to drive straight, often with reversed controls

Smoke & Mirrors
Drive the entire "classic" length of Desert Limo without crashing

This challenge will be unlocked after completing the story. It's a huge wink to a "Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors" minigame called Desert Bus[en.wikipedia.org].

You need to drive eight hours - yes, eight real hours! - in a straight line through the desert. The limousine slowly drifts to the left or right randomly. As soon as you go off the road, its game over, so keep correcting your vehicle. There is no pausing, so you better take a day off and get some food ready and be prepared. I highly recommend to do this with multiple people, or when doing it alone make sure to have someone to take over during your bathroom breaks. The achievement won't pop till you crash the limousine, so just end it right after eight hours if you don't want to risk anything. If you have no life, like I do, you can also go the extra mile and try to beat my record of 20 hours.

Actually, I coded a bot to automatically play the game because I couldn't be bothered.

@Taggrin, no problem. Thanks for explaining. That is still an impressive solution!

@Hallowsend I took a quick look, but unfortunately I can't find it. Been quite some years since I've done it. I might still have a copy on an old NVMe drive, but I currently don't have a device to access the data from it. But don't expect much anyway though. If I recall correctly it was just some thrown together console app that would spam the A/D keys based on the location of the car by taking a screenshot every 0.2sec (and even did so when not playing the game, so the user experience wasn't particularly great haha).

Taggrin, thanks for the guide! Could you share the bot you made for Desert Limo?

@yao199 Nope, this is not required! I believe it just adds some gimmicks like concept art, so you can just take the cheaper option.

Is the Deluxe Content dlc required for 100%?
