• Make it a priority to learn the map layout, shortcuts and secured zones.
  
• Know where, how and when you can enter any particular route, and where it might take you.
  
• Know where the stairs are, whom they are guarded by and which floors are connected by them.
  
• Make sure to check for pipes or cars to climb to different floors. Stairs are not always an option.
