By N
This guide describes how to get every ending of the game, therefore, it has a lot of spoilers.

Good ending 1
To get this ending you need to:
  • Cure district residents as possible;
  • Not “Embrace” anyone, that includes district residents and specific character choices;
  • Not kill the priest on the fight against Mary;
If a resident turn into a skal you can kill them.

Notes:
  • Sean Hampton: Spare or Turn;
  • Dorothy Crane: Spare or Charm;
    - Spare will make things easier with healing residents.
    - Charm will make her eventually die, but it's fine for the ending.
  • Aloysius Dawson: Charm or Turn;
    - Charm will heal sick residents of the districts (they can still get sick on the next night).
    - Turn is also fine for the ending.
  • McCullum: Spare or Turn;
    - Either option is fine.
  • Edgar Swansea: Turn or Let die.
Good ending 2
This ending is a variation of the first one, you will get it if you kill a resident or turn someone.

*haven’t yet tested to be sure of how many can be killed before you get the next ending, will be updating this guide.

Ps: If you choose to embrace Sean Hampton the whole district will die, risking you getting locked from this ending. He is the only pillar that can cause this.
Bad ending 1
To get this ending you can just do whatever and kill district residents, just don’t have all of them as hostile. Try not to "Embrace" in every character choice, spare or charm some of them.

How I got this ending:
  • Charm Dorothy Crane;
  • Embrace Sean Hampton (that caused the death of everyone on his district);
  • Embrace the priest;
  • Charm Aloysius Dawson;
  • Spare McCullum;
  • Embrace Edgar Swansea;
  • Embrace a district resident.
Bad Ending 2
To get this ending you must make London go into complete chaos, do whatever you want and make all districts get to hostile.

Charming Aloysisus is not necessary, I turned him, still got the best ending

I got the best ending even with Aloysius turned and Nurse Crane dead.

i got 'evil' ending (4) with No Hostile Districts (some citizens got sick during the endboss cutscene but as you can only check stats at the castle there's not much that could have been done), only Edgar and Alloysus Turned and 4 citizens embraced from each district :steamhappy:
to which i'm happy with as i HATE the BS romance between jon/eliz (maybe if it had been better written i'd have cared more)

It's been a while since I last played, but I think maybe around chapter 4 or 5? I just remember that the health of the district degrades pretty fast/easily after embracing him, so it's easy for it to go hostile. Note sure if there's an exact turning point, but if there is one I would guess it's around those.

how quickly does the docks degrade? because i embraced sean and apart from curing the sudden spike in illnesses, everyones still alive and kicking... or do i have to get the story to a certain chapter for everyone to pop their clogs? (if so which? as i was hoping to nom afew people later. don't want to miss out of their suddenly going to drop dead when i reach a certain point :( there's also some i want to keep alive because i like them ^.^)

The good ending 2 is really, really stingy on how many citizens you can embrace. Based on what I've read online, I wouldn't risk more than four or five. I got the bad ending with 9 embraces which I thought was *juuuust* enough to get the obvious murderers and criminals off the streets. Oh well.

It is possible to kill Mary before she'll bite the priest, but the game does little to recognize it (vicar just briefly shown limping away in a post-battle cutscene).
It is hard, however, and partially depends on random (somitimes Mary will linger near you so you're able to finish her, sometimes she jumps stright to the vicar).

Can't save the priest, she'll bite him if you don't

Is there actually a way to save the priest or does Mary always bite him if you don't?
