Innate Achievements

These are the achievements you'll get just by playing the game normally

Everything else.

These achievements are some you'll have to look out for, some you might miss, some require you to do a little extra work, I provide screenshots for some.

This one is near the beginning of the chapter 'Coming and Going'

After 'the kitchen smells good' scene you're free to move yourself. Go down and right till you see -

Erase that scene once and you'll get the achievement.

From time to time an icon will appear on the bottom left to understand slang and Irish words. To get this it will need to be an Irish word, not slang. Be curious and hit it up, it's interesting.

This will require you to replay this segment, as you can only fit 3 at one time, but that's fine because all characters have three each (+1 extra)

On the 'This book belongs to...' chapter after you've listed three things from a topic you'll have the chance to draw on the page, example -

At the end you'll make a character just pick this flag.

Same as the Trans one, pick this one.

This requires you to finish 'Planet X' then head straight to 'This book belongs to...' I was confused since the achievements have the first chapter as 'Coming and Going'

You only have to start 'Planet X' on the irish, this is done by clicking the list looking icon on the pause menu, going to languages, then clicking 'Gaeilge'

Only the journal counts, all the erasing to progress slides does not count, you will have to replay journal entries to fill up 30 minutes for this achievement.

Большое спасибо за руководство, платина получена. Насчёт достижения "Making memories disappear" Воспользовался комметариями двух человек ниже, выбрал главу 9.12.1993, взял кружку и ею зажал пробел, ибо он тоже, как и левая кнопка, отвечает за ластик, ушёл на 40 мин, прогресс завис на 2000,вышел из игры, выпала ачивка.

For the "Making memories disappear" achievement, you do not need to move the mouse. Just put something heavy on your right mouse and go have lunch/walk away/check social media/etc.. As soon as you think that you're on the half hour mark, use the ESC to go to a new chapter. The achievement will update then. There is no need to play a full chapter for the achievement to update.

For the "Skip the painful bits" it's not necessary to play the full chapter. Just start it, and then skip to "This book belongs to...". At least, that worked for me!

In regard to Making memories disappear:
I got 690/2400 by the time I finished getting all other achievements. Tried replaying journals, but was still being stuck at 690. The only journal that worked for me was 9/12/1993 and when I reached the "The bog road heist" I always exited game and checked progress. I got +120 towards the achievement each time I repeated this. Hope this helps anyone

Glad it finally worked for you. It is a finicky achievement, and in my opinion should be erasure of everything, but I guess the achievement is suppose to be the visualisation of wanting to forget so badly

I don't know if I was doing it wrong before, but I had tried it on other entries and it wasn't working. It was only when I came back to it that it worked.

It was the same with me, with steam not updating the values live. It doesn't have to be different journal entries, it can be the same one, basically the bits where you're erasing the pages not anything else. It is the most annoying of the achievements, please be patient with it.

Just an update - I played a journal entry, and finished the chapter after it (the Christmas dinner one). It only updated once I finished the chapter, but it's hard to tell which part actually counts for erasing.
