After playing the game up to level 35 I can say that this is a lovely bomberman-game that has a lot going for it, but there is one glaring issue that needs to get addressed: the gem system.

The cheapest pack gets you 40 gems, that is not even enough for 1 premium chest. Since the basic chest is better with coins this is a complete bust.

The medium package gets you to open 4 premium chests for the price of a complete (indie) game.
This will get you 4 chances for the items you want. This will more likely result in unwanted items then preferred.

The most expensive package gets you to open 50 premium chests for the price of 2 triple A games.
This will get you a decend chance on the items you want, but can still not guarantee to get what you want.

This is exactly what is wrong with lootboxes and why it should be confirmed to be gambling, cause it is. No matter how much money you throw at the game you are still not guaranteed to get what you want. Please do not condone this type of behaviour and spend your money on complete games.

I hold out hope that they will see the problem I see and start working on making stuff affordable. Without it I'm afraid this game will just die out like the rest and this does deserve to get more attention. It plays like a good game should.

But as long as they use this nightmare of a monetization system I will keep insisting people do not support it.
